This is relating more to the game part of it and less to the universe itself, the first game did decently well and the second sorta did, which could be attributed to multiple factors, one of which is that sandbox powerhouse games were abundant at that time and others were more exposed to people. If you could make a new game would you keep it as a sandbox powerhouse? Try an MMO version? RPG? Other game type?

I'd keep it a sandbox game. If there was ever one thing that Prototype did that was unique, it was all of the crazy things you could do around New York.

You nuts? Prototype games shoul be always a sandbox. Couldn't immagine a rpg version of it.

Sandbox games are my second favorite type of video games after the Fighting games type, and if somebody had this crazy idea of creating a RPG game of Prototye in a distant future, then Prototype wouldn't make sense for me anymore.
