One of my favorite stories just merged with another I'm working on... and the characters are into BDSM and I don't really know how to go about bringing it up and making it realistic enough.

I know the basics and why's, but someone with some actual experience may be better to help me write a little into the 'Freudian slip' that occurs which leads to a brief inquiry.
