Name: Transient Retina
Species/Race: Pony/Unicorn
Appearance: Her coat is a dark creme. Her mane and tail are basically straight and nondescript. The main and tail are several shades lighter than her coat.
Talent, cutie mark: Retina's talent revolves around optical illusions, which is ironic because she's blind. Her cutie mark is the outline of a unicorn, but it's so close in color to her coat that it's hard to see unless you're really looking.
Skill(s) in magic: Retina is capable of performing all sorts of optical illusions, the majority of which revolve around making objects either disappear or appear to be somewhere other than where they really are. Her goal is to make a pony invisible, but she can't see what she's doing, so she doesn't practice it much.
Items: Being blind, she doesn't travel much. Any traveling she does is typically done with Flavor Wall, the pegasus she's been living with.
History: Retina started loosing her eyesight almost right after being blind, reaching her current state when she was a little younger than the CMC. She's not entirely blind; she's able to made some distinction between light and dark and is able to detect movement on occasion. Because her eyes are clouded, she leaves them closed around half of the time she's awake.
Status: Retina's living with Flavor, working as something of a waitress for him. She's able to navigate his little restaurant by feel. She also serves as a taste tester and as entertainment for those that visit.
Attitude: Because she's been more or less blind her entire life, she's on the quiet side and keeps to herself. Once conversation is initiated, she's friendly and prone to laughter. Confrontations are avoided at all costs as she would have no means of defending herself.
Misc: Despite having lived with Flavor for several years, she sees him as an annoying friend and older brother. Romantic feelings never developed for whatever reason.
