Now... I want, and need input from EVERYPONY on this one.... Now that Twilight Sparkle is a princess, where does that leave the Harmonic Council? Does that strengthen our position, or weaken it?

With twilight sparkle becoming an alicorn, i think it makes us stronger. With more power in one of the council seats, the council itself gains power

or now that twilight has become a member of the puppeteers, she might pull a Bonaparte and become the new tyrannical ruler.

It might make us weaker. Since she's a princess, she'd probably be more likely to side with Celestia or Luna, or go off and do something by herself entirely.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see where this goes. if we base this on cannon, then we have to wait for season 4 to see how the alicornization affects her relationship with the rest of the mane 6
