The Golden Desert. It got it's name from various tales of travelers making their way through this scorching hot landscape, linking the unnatural way the sands were basked by the rays of the sun. That's where all the marvel fades away, as this land shows no mercy at any soul making their way, no matter their motivations. As one traveler put it, bloodlust lurks in the air...
Dust from the sand was trailing behind a hovercraft as it made it's way through the vast desert. The figure behind the wheel was clad in a grey cloak, the black lens of the goggles shining from the sunlight. Said hovercraft, to put it simply, was a mix of black and silver. Noticeably, the left side of the hovercraft had a cartoony-looking dragon, with narrowed eyes as it brandished a spear, and clad in armor.
"I'm sort of sensing all that talk being true," the figure muttered, the voice sounding female as the hands tightened around the wheel. "49 degrees, yet what with this chill down my spine?"
The figure looked around for any signs of life. Anything, be it animals, or some other type of creature. Very doubtful any humans would be around this area... Any normal people with no preparation would turn around without thinking it twice.
A burst from the sand, just in front of the hovercraft!
The figure pressed down the feet into the brakes, forcing the hovercraft to come to an screeching halt! A roar pierced the air afterwards, such a roar would make anyone turn away in fear. More burst from the ground followed, the unfriendly newcomers landing to the ground as they glared at their prey with red, fire eyes.
Their hair was long, reaching down to their waist. Imposing figures with fangs protuding from the tops of their mouths, and sharp fingernails like claws. Anyone would rather turn away and never look back...
Not this person.
Behind the goggles of the hovercraft rider, a pair of jade eyes narrowed.
Basically, asking people to caption a pic can lead to an big idea. This is the pic that caused this burst of my brain.
