Story Prompts #1

Fluttershy and Zephyr Breeze bonding episode: heartwarming one shot where they talk about their lives and struggles and triumphs.

Rarity confronts Derpy and/or judge on the Kart Race: Twelve year old Rarity is filled with rage at getting second place and believes a conspiracy is at foot.

Lyra as Dale Gribble episode: Where Lyra tries to announce her conspiracies of the evil Equestrian Regime hiding the existance of humand.

Friendship is Magic an Epic Retelling AU: This retells the whole FIM from Season 1 to 9 with a more dramatic adventurous and epic tone. Twilight is more cynical even after the first two episodes and she has to open over a longer period of time.

G5 retelling: Sunny is more of an inspirational leader figure and Hitch is the voice of reason. Sunny tries to explore new lands. She and her friends are now fugitives and have to ally with others to find the secrets of harmony and unite the land.

My favorite story out of all the ones you have written down is definitely the Fluttershy/Zephyr Breeze story. While I am not the biggest fan of Zephyr, I definitely do like his relationship with Fluttershy (who is my personal favorite pony). I would love to see that get made into a full length short story, though I don’t know if this list is meant to showcase future story plans or just to write out your thoughts in one place.

Also, in regards to that Sunny story at the end, I wonder if there’s a way to make that without including spoilers for the G5 MYM series. I think there is, but excitement for the series would likely cause writers to forget to keep their stories separate from the events on TV.

This is indeed future writing plans. And when writing Fluttershy and her brother, I've seen so much fanfiction about Zephyr relating with other characters even Starswirl since they both failed at life at first. That is nice.

But I rarely see Zephyr and Fluttershy bonding fics. And the reason why I like them together is because I always felt like Fluttershy can understand what Zephyr feels being afraid of the world and feeling inadequate. In the early seasons Fluttershy probably felt she was a coward and kind of a failure especially for a pegasus.

I would like a story where Fluttershy says "you can change Zephyr and I know that because that's what happened to me."

Also Fluttershy would say she was always proud of her little brother and she will never lose hope in him even when others lost hope in Fluttershy

That would be easy considering when I do get to this g5 fic I will focus mostly on A New Generation. It will be awhile before I get to the MYM part. I can probably save Opaline and Misty for later. There might hints of them in my story but nothing major.
