Zombie stories and zombie self

I feel like a zombie. Bleh.

Speaking of zombies: Have you ever read a story through dozens of chapters, and then found the author only updates rarely? By the time they update you’ve forgotten details of the story and can’t be assed to read it all over again?

Many good stories I have given up on because of this problem. Authors, please commit to reasonable updates, or release shorter chapters. If you can’t update inside a month, you’re doing it wrong.

while i would prefer to get my stories on the regular, this is all for free. I’ll wait. If too much time passes and I lose the thread, I’ll wait till it completes, or check back once a year to catch up on things.
