Princess Cadance

So Cadance entered the creative process fairly late for me. While the original storyline revolved around Luna, Celestia, and Twilight I realized that Cadance and Flurry would still be alive as well. Cadance has always been another one of those underrated characters to me. I was also quite confused when I recently heard the books explanation of how she became an alicorn. It seemed so arbitrary and rushed, though much of the canon feels like that to me. Again the purpose of this story is pretty much my own headcanon because I really love these characters and don't feel like they got a fair shake in the canon. As chapters go on it will become more apparent how frustrated I have become with the canon. Back to Cadance, I gave her a medical role as I felt a mother fit that niche. I hope she comes across as likable as I see her.
