i didn't mean to abandon it, but life got in the way for a bit there!
no promises on the ETA, but i do intend to update the whole story and complete it
it's marked as cancelled for now since i will probably leave the old version up and post as a new version (it will be completely rewritten, so that should follow the fimfic dupe rules), so i hope you look forward to it
