My brother started dialysis about 2 years ago because he has kidney failure and, for reasons I won't go into here, he is simply not eligible for a transplant.     City in Her Chair Rewrite

    I almost doubled the word count so it is no longer just a bloated flash fic. It is now a proper short story with a much better flow!
