    Last and First Men

Only took me a few months of on and off reading to finally get through all of Last and First Men. It is now my favorite book of all time. It has (as I mentioned in my last blog (though I doubt many have seen it) ) fundamentally changed the way I write. The book is simply wonderful and completely deserves its place in the hall of Science-Fiction Masterworks. It's a story that spans 2 billion years

    Inspiration

I've been reading Last and First Men and can easily say that it is by far the best book I've ever read. The way it is written hit a chord with me, I'm certain it has even changed the way I write. New Year, New History Fact

Did you know that Dr. Von Braun had designed a manned mission to Mars as early as 1952? From what I understand the math still adds up, the mission would've worked. Remembering that Time Some Dude in China Said he was Jesus' Brother · 7:26pm May 15th, 2022

The Taiping Rebellion was interesting to say the least. A man by the name Hong Xiuquan claimed to be the brother of Jesus Christ and started a massive rebellion against the Qing dynasty that ruled China. Hong established the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom and waged war against the Qing, seeking to destroy the Qing and enact major social reforms. The rebellion grew to be the bloodiest in human history and lasted from 1850 to 1864. In the end, the Qing took a decisive victory. After the war the Qing were weakened and the perception of Christianity in China damaged.
