After-Sex Smoke #24: The Nut Patrol · 5:00pm May 6th, 2022
Back so soon? I thought I wouldn't see you guys for a couple of months, but here we are (on time this time!)
Hello all and welcome to another installment in everyone's favorite least favorite blog, the After-Sex Smoke. Today, we'll be talking about M E M E S and my love for Pinkie Pie as a character, all culminated into one nice ball in the form of my latest story, The Nut Patrol.
Observant readers (or those who caught my last blog post) will know that this story was coming. In that blog post, I detailed that I came across the cover image for this story in my travels over the internet and liked it so much that an idea started forming. At first, it was going to be a lot less convoluted and "detailed" than it is now, but ideas kept throwing themselves at me and I couldn't say no.
This story is about Pinkie, my favorite character in MLP. She can fill a lot of roles: the clumsy ditz, the "smarter than you think" jokester, and everything in between depending on what kind of story you want to tell. Similarly, you can peg her as both an experienced connoisseur or a first-timer during sex and make both work. I love to mix and match what kind of Pinkie I write any time I write her, but I can't help but fall back on the same kinds of tropes I always do. That's why I like her so much. Her flexibility makes it so you can write basically any character and keep her in character for the show.
And then there's this story. For this, I wanted to have a comedic take on a kind of yandere-esque Pinkie. One clearly obsessed with someone, but not so obsessed that she resorts to overly violent tactics. I was never a particularly big fan of that kind of character, but it does make for some interesting fiction sometimes. For the Anon, I went with a kind of skeptical, jumpy kind of guy who's always looking to stay out of trouble. That's kind of where the rest of the story developed from.
At first, the Nut Patrol wasn't going to be an established organization. It was just going to be something Pinkie made up to get to Anon. But then I started having ideas, and we all know how that goes. In the end, I liked the plot elements and decided to stick them in. I hope they weren't too intrusive or unenjoyable.
As for future projects... I haven't gotten any lined up. However, I do have a couple of fledgling ideas I could make into something bigger. Hopefully, those don't take too long to form, though who's to say? I could vanish for a couple of months or be back next Friday. It's all up to chance, really.
Anyway, that's about all I have to say. Keep yourselves safe out there and I'll see you all next time on the After-Sex Smoke.
Well the story is one of the best stories I read rip the sharp keeper
