Prologue: My Little Pokémon (Platinum Edition) - Blog Version

This is just a little something I wanted to get out of my brain. Maybe I will do a full story, but right now, I'm packed with what I am currently working on. Hope you enjoy this small prologue to my own "My Little Pokémon", my fellow fans!

"Come on, Espeon! Iron Tail!" I ordered her.

"Espe!" she nodded in return as she turned back toward her opponent, Jack's Zoroark. Her tail turned into steel before she jumped into the air.

"Night Slash!" Jack shouted in response.

Zoroark's claws turned a purple-ish energy before it thrust its claws and clashed together with Espeon's Iron Tail. Their continuous clash had been going on for a few moments before Jack decided to use his Z-Move.

"Like a nightmare coming out, you shall never see the light of day!" said Jack. "Zoroark, Never-Ending Nightmare!"

The whole stadium turned into a different dimension for me and Espeon, as we were worried for the worse to happen.

Suddenly, some purple hands came from the ground, to which Espeon jumped into the air and touched one of the hands, causing her whole body to shiver in fear.

"Espeon, quickly! Use Quick Attack to run!" I called out.

Espeon ran away from the purple hands from the Never-Ending Nightmare, but there seemed to be no end to the hands as more came in front of her.

"There's no running, Daniel," Jack told me.

"If there's no running... then..." I decided. "Espeon, turn around!"

She did as ordered.

I chose to use my Z-Move now. I strike a pose. "Espeon, Breakneck Blitz!"

She begins to run towards Zoroark that stood behind the many hands that were now being obliterated by Espeon and she hits Zoroark right on the chest, while the purple hands also hits her which causes them both to be knocked out at the same time.

"Both Eespeon and Zoroark are unable to battle!" said the referee.

As we continued our battle, I chose my next Pokémon. "Lycanroc, I choose you!"

"Lycanroc, you too!" Jack added in response.

Our respective forms of Lycanroc came forth from their Poké Balls. They stared at each other with intensity.

"Stone Edge!" both Jack and I ordered them.

The attacks collide, with no outcome.

We continued the battle, calling attack after attack, intending to finish the other's Pokémon by tiring them out. However, eventually, my Lycanroc was on the verge of losing when the Midnight Lycanroc used Counter on it.

"We're not done! Use Counter against Counter!" I ordered.

"No way!" gasped a shocked Jack.

My Dusk Lycanroc finished off Jack's Lycanroc, knocking it out of the battlefield and making it unable to continue.

"And the winner of the Kanto League is... Daniel Platinum!" said the referee.

I couldn't believe it. I was actually the new Champion of the Kanto region. Now that is what I call a great battle, too.

"It was a great battle, Daniel," Jack told me. "You deserve the title, more than me, in fact."

"Thanks, Jack," I thanked him and we shook hands. The audience cheered for us both.

Once the closing ceremony came to an end, I was prepared to leave the Indigo Plateau with Yellow, but something caught my eye behind the trees. I walked over, with Espeon following after me.

"Ah, excellent," said a strange voice. "You are Champion Daniel Platinum, correct?"

"Uh..." I blinked. "Yes, I am. What do you want?"

"I came to let you know that you've been chosen," the voice said.

"Espe?" Espeon was confused, and so was I.

"Confused, are we? Well, don't be. All will come in due time. Allow me to show you... my world! Enjoy your trip to Equestria, Champion of Kanto!"

And then, before I could react, my sight turned black and all seemed to vanish from my surroundings into a dark void.
