I just noticed my one-shot "Lost Pieces of the Past" is getting some attention. I mean it isn't a load of attention, but it's gotten ten likes already and the fact people are faving it shows they like it. I was kind of worried as I wasn't sure about how people would react to Twilight being a grandmother? I mean she's a young looking grandma due to being Celestia 2.0 now, but people seem to like it. Just FYI, besides Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Fluttershy, and Rarity also have children. Granted their kids are not the same age. Also FYI, Rarity adopts like Rainbow Dash, while Fluttershy and Applejack have biological children. I hope no one thinks me weird but I always was bugged that Pinkie Pie was the only one of the mane six who had a canon kid.
Honestly I thought it made sense-
I like the idea that Twilight Sparkle was going through some things, or rather was simply too busy or too much of a workaholic to pursue Flash or any other suitor. (Additionally, I'd like to think that the only reason she had a crush on him in EG is because she was introduced to a human teen body for the first time, and I think that comes with a lotta hormonal changes. Like, stuff like that is new to her, so she's easily swept up by it)
I also enjoyed the idea that Rarity embodies that- single woman for life sorta thing. I haven't read your fic, but it would be really cool if you had made her a single mother who adopted simply because she wants her franchise to continue.
Rainbow Dash and AppleJack? Love that pairing. Lol just the idea of constant competition and always having that, back and forth. I think maybe AppleJack's family is too big for Dashie and AJ to adopt yet
I was Surprised Pinkie Pie, of all ponies had a kid. But when I think about it. I guess it makes sense. It just looks like her and her Cheese have a lot of fun together ^u^
I don't know how to feel about a Fluttercord baby, and I think the show writers felt the same, heh. I remember reading Discord's wiki a while back and the show writers were sweating when people asked about an EG equivalent of Discord!
