Zinc was currently laying in bed, smoking a cigarette while playing "Pumped up Kicks" by Foster the Ponies through her headphones. Her room smelled terrible and looked messy along with it being dark, only a bit of light managed to shine through the closed curtains.
'Fucking ponies, we'll see who's laughing when I shoot up the school' Zinc thought as she took another puff from her cig.
Suddenly, Ramirez came into her room and flipped on the lights, causing Zinc to hiss as she raised her hooves to cover up her eyes while taking her headphones off.
"Hey Zinc, I just came to check on you to see if you're__" Ramirez's nose scrunched up as the smell of cigarettes hit her nostrils, looking at her daughter and seeing her with a lit cigarette "Wha__Zinc! what do you think you're doing!?"
"Fuck you mom, leave me alone and get out of my room!" Zinc said in an irritated tone.
Ramirez marched closer to her daughter and snatched the cig, throwing it on the ground and smothering it under her hoof.
"Mom! I was smoking that!"
"1. No smoking in the house! 2. open those curtains and let some lights in here and 3. clean this room up!"
"Pfft, like you can force me" she said as she rolled her eyes at her mother.
"Zinc, what has gotten into you? why are you acting like this?"
"Because I can and I want to, is that clear?"
Fed up with this mess, Ramirez locked the door before seating down on the bed next to Zinc "Honey, please, just tell me whats wrong__"
Zinc cuts her off "__Nothing is wrong! why dont you fuck off and go hang out with "perfect" little Thumbtack!" she then crosses her hooves and faces away from Rami.
Ramirez sighs "if you want I can bring Griff here to talk to you"
"As if, he ain't gonna come here. why waste time with his daughter that he ignores and instead of kissing up to Thumbtack's ass?"
Ramirez pauses for a bit "Wait, is this what all of this is about? do you...miss hanging out with him?"
Zinc went silent.
"It doesn't matter...just...fuck, leave me the hell alone mom!" with that, she puts her headphones back on before lighting up another cigarette out of spite.
"I...I understand...I'll talk to you later..." The small changeling looked down at the ground, her ears flattened as she turned the lights off and left the room. leaving Zinc alone in her room again.
"Nobody cares...everybody is all to focus on fucking 'Tack, just wait until they see what I do tomorrow..."
