"Griff! Griff wake up!" Ramirez said as she shook him a bit more, earning a groan from him as he sat up in bed and rubbed his eyes.
"W-what? What's wrong, Rami?" he asked as he looked around, trying to get his eyes to adjust.
"We overslept! we're going to be late for work!" She said worryingly.
"Oh shoot!" Griff said as he got up off the bed quickly "I forgot we have work! ugh, and just when I was getting comfortable..."
"I already brushed my teeth and put on my work clothes, just waiting on you dingus"
Griff was about to go on and get his work clothes from the closet before realizing something "Wait a minute, aren't you supposed to be on maternity leave, though?"
"I dont know, anyway, you should be getting ready before you make us more late!" Ramirez then grabbed his clothes from the closet and gave them to him before mustering all her strength and trying to push him into the bathroom.
"Rami, please stay home. you shouldn't be working, I thought you said you were going to talk to the boss about this?"
"I'll be fine Griffy, I can take care of myself!"
Griff rolled his eye before picking up the little changeling and placing her on top of the closet.
"Oye cabrón! Que estas haciendo!?" Rami said in spanish, glareing down at him.
"I'll go to work, you stay here. at home. where it's safe." He said in a stern voice.
"Hmph, fine..." she said as she crossed her hooves and blew some of her curly mane away from her face.
