Hey everyone I’m curious about something, past couple of days I was a bit of a depressive state, I’m mostly a cheery person making people smile and happy but there are some days where feel so bad, so I’m curious what would you all do if you had some dark thoughts what is your depression cure if you all have one of those days lol
I tend to go through a cycle, with the depression coming and going. At peak, I'm happy in the here and now, in the trough, I feel like I've got no future ahead and intrusive thoughts start creeping in. Only thing I've found to do is ride it out until it passes on its own. It's probably not healthy, but it works for me.
As Mr. Peanutbutter once said: 'The universe is a cruel uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning, it's just to keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you'll be dead.'
I honestly find that notion rather comforting.
