I think over the past days, I have been having an epiphany of some sorts. I have been down in the gutters for the past few days since the new update to the website. I click on the featured stories and glance at the views.

All of that jazz. I was so sad that I couldn't be big, like Rarity, wanting to become popular.
But then I realized something.
I don't need a lot of views on anything, or a lot of comments, likes, watches, hell... even dislikes. Just as long as you come to the page, not even click on a chapter, even if you see the story on the Latest Stories board, I'm happy. Ponies have made me a much more wiser guy in a terrible world, which is better for my sake. I have made so much friends over the course of a year since ponies took over my life, and I couldn't be happier. I suppose other people have a similar story to me and it really is something special. Being a brony is damn hard work, you know? Most people or haters don't really take that into assumption. Most bronies get made fun of, called names like faggot, autistic, retarted, gay, etc. (pardon my language when I am trying to get a message out). Not all Bronies do, but a lot of others can't even go post a comment on YouTube when watching an episode of pony without being hassled my an over reacting, sex addicted (see what I did there?) homophobic hater.
I can't really... Contribute to the Brony Community other than fanfics or readings. I'm not skilled in Pony Dubs like Alex S., Eurobeat or PinkiePieSwear, I'm not a talented drawer like Paraderpy, I can't animate with Adobe Flash without bankrupting myself, and I can't write like AbsoluteAnonymous or Vargras. I know I am not troubled, I don't have a mental disorder, but I am a philosopher who studies English and Music Theory/Composition/Musicology.
Those things will take me far, but I have to wait. I'm not popular with the 'cool kids' but I am liked amongst my friends. We live in a cruel, cruel world, but we cannot deny our likes just because someone says it's wrong. So, I will continue to write as I feel like it and love everyone. Thanks to all you, the whole fandom, you have made me a very happy guy.
Apart from the fact that my girlfriend broke up with me.
