I’ve been here for seven years now. I don’t have much to say about it, but if anyone wants to ask questions, comment below.

Hmm...🤔

How ya been?

What's your favourite pony to write?

I’m not really sure. Most of who I’ve written has been Twilight, Rainbow Dash, and at this point, Nightmare Moon. I don’t have a lot of experience writing other characters and I wouldn’t say I’m good at it either. Of course, whether I handle the characters I write in a quality manner is also debateable.

I guess if I had to pick a favorite to write, Nightmare Moon, but it’s not really fair given my obsession with the version of her I’ve spent a long while crafting. There are also more factors to consider, such as the context of what's happening that affects whether I like it or not, and so on.

I've been around now for about 8 years. It's crazy to think about how long ago that was. So I guess my question for you is,

What about this fandom has kept you around for so long? What keeps you here?

Friends, cute ponies, and fanfiction. Even though I’ve just started recovering from nearly a year-long break on reading fanfiction (I lost interest and I’m somewhat struggling to rebuild it, but I’m making my way through a story I stopped reading early last year), there are so many options, possibilities, and the like that can come from the show and fandom. It personally feels more genuine than other shows or fandoms, if that makes sense. Might be silly, but the characters mean more to me than characters from other shows I’ve seen. I also tend to keep to myself and what I know. I’m not adventurous and tend to resist getting out or trying new things outside of my comfort zone. Plus at this point, I’ve devoted enough to this that I don’t want to let it go. Sunk cost and all that.

The majority of my friends I’ve met through the show and fandom, so even with the ups and downs I’ve had regarding that aspect, it still holds a special place in my heart... even if I find myself in a state of procrastination with watching pony when I can/could.

I probably rambled there, so I apologize.

I've read your Night's Stars. I've meant to talk to you for the longest time but it phased my mind. What gave you the idea of that story?

It’s been so long that I’m not sure I can remember, but I’m fairly certain the ideas are sprinkled over blog posts and probably author’s notes.

At the time, I think I was reading this story, or, at the very least, it in some way contributed. I remember I had two different ideas, one involving time travel/AU where Twilight would have to lead a rebellion to free Equestria from Nightmare Moon and stop a war, and the other idea was, in a nutshell, “Retell the show but instead, Nightmare Moon won” which escalated into The Night’s Stars and became something beyond the scope that I initially had in mind.

Anything else?

Very interesting! Do you mind if we talk in the DMs about mlp and such? You seem cool, so I wouldn't mind being friends with you.

Yeah that’s fine.
