    I love FoE

This is just a quick follow up to an author's note and my view on my FoE works. Fallout Equestria: Lineage was the first ever story I published on this site, way back when the original Fallout Equestria was in the works alongside Project Horizons. They were what got me into this site in the first place and I enjoyed every bit of Lil' Pip's and Blackjack's adventures. As it has with everyone. I

    Regards to Rating Disabling/Enabling

So, a neat little feature I noticed is disabling the ratings at the expense of not getting your story featured. Well, I'll be honest, from what I've experienced before, it'll be rather difficult for me personally to make it anywhere in there. So, I'll take this as a good thing. With a reason and exception.

Where I've been and what I've been doing.

I've been away for a bit mainly for personal reasons. The lack of activity was caused by a critically low financial issue that had me panicked about losing my house and internet thanks to Hurricane Harvey. However, since the hurricane pass and things have stabilized, I can now return to writing Project Apocalyptica and Primordial Conflict. Sorry for the delays.

Teaser Protagonist for my next project.

Project Apocalyptica has been receiving positive feedback and I am glad it has kept that up so far. I intend to keep working on it as I feel the idea is exponential! However, with many stories such as this, I eventually come up with new ideas for a different story I want to do and if I put it off for long, I will end up just leaving both works unfinished and not up to standards.

So, a neat little feature I noticed is disabling the ratings at the expense of not getting your story featured. Well, I'll be honest, from what I've experienced before, it'll be rather difficult for me personally to make it anywhere in there. So, I'll take this as a good thing. With a reason and exception.

Reason being: I enjoy feedback and proper criticism of my work. I feel it'll help me improve as an author/writer. I have always had that creed ever since I started writing fanfics back in 2015. I love to read people telling me my mistakes and giving proper feedback to improve it for the future. With this site's rating system, I feel it is very hit or miss. Hit because it's great for recognition and to help gain that boost in confidence. Miss because it can demoralize writers if they don't receive any reason as to why. And from what I've experienced as well before this, viewers are either quick to press it and move on, or actually take the time to read it and find it isn't worth their time. This is fine by me. Now, to go on with the exception.

The exception being: You will rarely see me disable the ratings of my stories. With one exception. If it is a sequel side story of another story. As to what's going on currently, I have disabled ratings for my current story, mainly because I feel it isn't big enough to matter in any feature at all, negative or positive. To me personally, little side stories for major stories for my work shouldn't have a rating and just be something there as a follow up to some events from a bigger project or future projects. I plan to do the same thing with Project Apacolyptica when I come back around to it. Same with Primordial Conflict and Lucid Dreams (Yes, this is to confirm it isn't a short story. I want to make it a full project). With that said, the exception would be that ratings will always be enabled for my bigger projects. While the ratings will be disabled for smaller or less meaningful stories.

And with that out of the way, I have big plans for my work and I can't wait to share it~. I hope you'll stick around long enough to at least give them a look over. I have a good friend who I'll be commissioning alot for cover arts. As usual, the editing will be done by me as I cannot find any help for it, which is no issue personally.

It's great to get back into writing.
