Hello.
My name is Nala. I've been a long time fan of Mlp, but never had the confidence to try my hand at being social. Though have always read tons of fiction, especially on other sites of the Fandom. I've been taking writing classes and really want to try to create something, it keeps my mind moving and that's something I really need now.
I know that nobody is on my page at the moment, a problem I'll try to address if I'm not too boring. I just want to post this up in case I do make friends, they can read this and know more about me. I might just be nervous and writing things out calms my mind, so I'm going to try out this path.
Favorite Fandom Character?
My favorite character from all of Mlp is Deejay Pon3 aka Vinyl Scratch! 
She's cool and loves music as I do. Though I know she speaks in the comics, the fact she doesn't speak in the shows really touches my heart. I myself suffer from muteness since an event in my childhood, watching her just being so confident and full of energy without a single word inspires me. I might just be able to be creative and bring others happiness by enjoying life and being myself!

I do suffer from muteness, from a traumatic experience in my infancy. I'd rather not share publicly, but if curious drop a DM and I'll share.
I have adoptive parents, which I absolutely love! In my heart they are my true parents.
Awesome fact! I'm a Synesthete, Grapheme and Lexical-Gustatory Synesthesia! ~ I see written letters in unique colors and I'm actually able to taste music very clearly, though spoken words give me a mild sensation or so faint I can barely taste them, yet oddly enough very few words hit me like lightning and can taste really powerful.
Oh, I don't just taste them normally, I get this sensation of a mouth feel too. Somethings feel crunchy or even fluffy like whippedcream.
If curious what it looks like, 
Since I can't speak, I learned to sign so I'm able to chat freely with those in the know. Bless my dad's heart though, he tries but just can't seem to understand signs, lol. My mother on the other hand, she's like a perfectionist at the language and I absolutely love sharing with her in our own private conversations.
For others like my dad. I use this tiny cute purple notebook to write down what I want to say. Yeah, simple and not too exciting, lol.
I have more to share, but I'll save those for other blogs. I don't want this one to be, too long.
I hope to make many friends here, I can be as chatty as I want online.
I'm semi-shy so I might take time to fully open up.

I stumbled here by chance, but I want to say this is super awesome. Plus I think this kind of different perception could make for a great story mechanic or an interesting facet of some OC.
