Meet my OCs

Before we begin introductions, I want to give a big thank-you to TheMajorTechie for introducing me to Imgbb, the website that gave me the ability to post my photos on the Internet using my phone!

I haven't made drawings for all of my OCs yet, but I will post the others when I figure out how to draw them.

But for now, let the introductions begin!

This is Roborygon Mk. Z, but he goes by Roborygon. A multipurpose robot built after the Pokemon Porygon-Z, Roborygon was constructed by the Pokemon Expedition Society to aid me and my friends by giving us helpful advice for various situations, kind of like Goombella from Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. Of course, he would show fewer emotions than the Goomba due to being a robot, but he can be snarky at times, like Knight Industries 2000 (KITT) from Knight Rider. He is also a master at emulating emotions.

And this is GM-2375 Enhanced Model, better known as Gim-E. Originally a run-of-the-mill GM–series robot that lived on Planet Misteen, he was recruited by Kirby as the pink puffball went on a mission to chase after the pieces of the Jamba Heart and stop the three mage sisters. However, a tragic miscalculation on Planet Equis (I think that's what the planet Equestria is in is called) led to him being aggressively dismantled, but some kind ponies managed to put him back together. A few years later, a familiar scientist came and gave the Gim a massive improvement, granting him a second eye and arm (I know he already got the extra eye and arm between Friend Hearts Are Magic and Guest Star Kelduo, but I'm gonna rewrite those two stories for reasons), protecting his inner parts with a sturdy spherical outer body, upgrading his weapon to be able to switch between elements, and bestowing upon him a secret mode that he may activate should he find himself or his friends in great peril.

Don't mind that hole in the paper; the drawing was a few months old.

Anyway, I guess I should make some commentary.

Huh. I might be misremembering things, but I swear I remember you mentioning that Roborygon was built by "Pummeler's Pikachu PhD." Is this a new change, is Pummeler's Pikachu part of the Expedition Society, or something else?

The planet Equestria is in, as far as I'm aware, doesn't have a canonical name, but fans normally call it Equus (spelled E-Q-U-U-S.)

Also, interesting about the round outer body: I was wondering why he looked so round in these pictures! I guess Gim-E would be the EVE to every other Gims WALL-E? (Shout out if you have watched that movie, that's probably one of the best Disney movies out there.)

His eyes are only happy like that because that's the pose he will take when summoned by the Dream Rod in my Friend Hearts Are Magic remaster. I mean, can you name a Dream Friend who doesn't look happy when summoned by the Dream Rod (besides Dark Meta Knight of course)?

Yep, it's a new change. I drastically changed my stories, on Fimfiction and otherwise, and one of the changes was that I never got the Cosplay Pikachu in the Hoenn region; it was gifted to Brendan or May instead like in Pokemon ORAS (Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire). So instead, the members of the Expedition Society built Roborygon for me.

I guess Gim-E would be the EVE to every other Gims WALL-E?

Nope, because EVE isn't the same kind of robot as WALL-E. Gim-E is more like the Bandana Waddle Dee to every other Gim's Waddle Dee. He's just an improved Gim.

And yes, WALL-E is one of the greatest Disney movies ever.

Oh, okay. I honestly assumed the happy eyes were a reference to the "eye smile thing that characters in anime do" that he's described as doing in one chapter.

I... think I get the vague idea of it (Pummeler's Pikachu now belongs to "Brendan or May" and Roborygon was now made by the Expedition Society,) but I'm really confused. I don't know much about Pokemon except for what was said in Helix and Hooves, sorry.

I wasn't trying to be literal when I said that, I was more talking in terms of looks and technology rather then model. Gim-E is round and is more advanced, while other Gims are blocky and less advanced, and the same is true of EVE and WALL-E. That being said, I guess I agree with you that Bandana Waddle Dee and regular Waddle Dees is a better comparision.

Not quite a reference, but yeah, that was what he did in that chapter. But I still don't really know the proper name for when anime characters' eyes arch like that. Does it have a proper name?

No need to apologize. Pokemon is a very confusing series, because of how many Pokemon there are and how many regions there are, among other stuff.

Probably, but I don't think I have ever actually checked that. I'll probably look it up later.

This is Cosplay Pikachu, a special Pikachu that can wear different costumes for Pokemon Contests, and Brendan and May are the characters you can play as in Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire and their remakes.
