First is the worst

Has Fimfiction always had a blog feature? I don't remember looking at others' blog posts in the past, but then again, I have the memory of a goldfish cracker. I think it's pretty useful to have now, either way. I'm trying to keep track of what's going on in my brain, and ponies have always been tied to my mental health, to some extent. Maybe I'll cure my depression through the power of HONSE! /j
I won't say that 2022 will be the year that I actually buckle down and start writing fanfic in earnest - it wouldn't necessarily be a lie, but I know myself better than that! Something always seems to get the better of me when I try to focus on writing. What I will say is that I do intend to start making goals for myself, and more importantly, to actually stick to them. But honestly, the only thing I can think to write about right now is how my back hurts more than usual, so... give me some time! (Went sledding with some friends the other day, ate shit every time I went down, decided that I might be a liiittle too old for sledding - and then immediately decided that nah, getting hurt is half the fun!)
I do actually have some ideas for fics, so it's not like I'm low on material. It's just forming that material into a complete, cohesive thing that's hard for me. My most recent idea was an exploration of the era between G4 and G5, and what could've possibly caused the three pony tribes to separate themselves. Other than that, I've got some next gen/fan-foal stuff that I've been toying with since around 2018, and an absolute metric tonne of OC lore that people probably won't care about! I also kinda want to dip my hooves into the world of actually writing darkfic as opposed to just reading it. I can't promise that will be any good, though, bear with me there!
I really don't have anything else to say, but it felt nice to just ramble on for a while. Hopefully I'll remember to make more blog posts in the near future!

At the very least, the feature's been around since sometime before you made your account in 2016. I don't have the exact date they were added, but I've seen some blog posts that date as far back as October 2011.
