We Bare Bears Teddy Panda Bear Letter · 3:38pm Dec 19th, 2021

Panda is sitting on the sofa in the living room, waiting patiently for the date of his life on Valentine's Day night. The entire cave was decorated in pink, purple, and red lights with multiple colors of hearts hanging from the ceiling. Everything took a week to prepare, it was almost the same effort his girlfriend would’ve done if the date was taking place in her house. But even after Christmas, he still hadn’t met her parents yet, keeping the relationship to a low profile inside of the forest.

Soon Panda’s phone rang, revealing Grizz requesting facetime with his brother. Panda picked up his phone, accepting his brother’s request. “Hey Pan Pan!” Grizz smiled.

“Hi Grizz.” Panda responded. “So things are going well between you and Ice Bear at Chloe’s?”

“Fine, I’m sleeping in the living room and Ice Bear’s sleeping in the bathtub with ice cubes.”

“That’s good. I really appreciate you two giving me and Amanda the cave for tonight.” He then took a deep breath while looking at the front door. Amanda texted him she’ll come over as soon as she can. “I’m on my own tonight, I just hope this works out for me.”

“Live and hope bro! She’s gonna have a Valentine's letter for you.” It strikes a chord with Panda knowing that’s where all of Amanda’s feelings about him are kept. “Did you have your letter about her?”

“Yes, but I’ve kept it in my bedroom since I finished it…” He blushed while scratching on the back of his head. “...It’s way too gooey.”

“That’s what girls like Amanda enjoy. She would probably have some gooey charm in her letter.”

“I’m aware of that, but neither you nor Ice Bear read my letter, so she’s gonna be the only person reading it. This will be either or better or worse than getting an A+ in art class!”

“Relax, everything will work out between you and her tonight.” As Grizz yawned, he laid his head on the sofa. “We’re coming back from Chloe’s after breakfast. Don’t give up on yourself.” Grizz ended the call, leaving his brother all alone for the night.

Panda believes he has one last phase with his girlfriend. He may have future dates with Amanda, but after nearly seven months, he still hasn't met her family, nor her grandparents.

“This holiday feels more like a nightmare than a dream come true.” He placed his phone on the stool. He then heard the door being knocked upon, with no time left, the inevitable had arrived. “Well, here it goes.” He headed to the door, straightening his bowtie until he opened the door. “Amanda.”

“Hello Panda.” She smiled as she stepped inside the cave. “Are your brothers here?”

“No, they’re sleeping over at Chloe’s place, so we have the cave to ourselves tonight.” As Panda closed the door behind his girlfriend, Amanda was stunted at the decorated cave itself.

“I’m sure you and them are responsible for this. Only Schools from the first to sixth grade were decorated during Valentine's Day.”

“Does it feel like it’s just the two of us here?”

When she turned to Panda upon taking her jacket off, she blushed. “If you put it that way, yes.” Upon hanging her jacket on a coat rack, she and Panda head straight to the kitchen. There were more than ten light candles displayed, including one large candle displayed on the table. “This looks beautiful.”

“It was mostly my idea.” As the two looked up above, a bucket of roses, still fresh after Panda watered them before this day came.

“I knew you would think this through when we agreed to this. I would expect this to happen at a fancy restaurant.”

“Well we’re gonna be eating chocolate covered strawberries so...let’s act like we’re in a fancy restaurant.”

The two took a seat by the table while they took one strawberry from the pile. As they took one bite, Panda decided to make the first move before Amanda. “You look way more beautiful with pink.”

“Thanks.” Amanda nearly forgot. “Pink’s your favorite color?”

“Yeah, to me, it’s a lucky color during this holiday to find your Valentine.”

After witnessing one feeling involving color, Amanda decided to let out her feelings. “What about red?” She smiled. “For me personally, it allows a couple to come closer with their bond becoming powerful and very difficult to break.”

“That is true.” Panda agreed. “Sometimes, I think of that color as the person you love the most.”

“Was that how you felt when you met Lucy for the first time? And me?”

Panda has done that to other girls, but he knows Amanda won’t like it if she finds out. “Yes, Because you stand out the most then the other girls in San Francisco.”

After Amanda took another bite from her strawberry, she became surprised. “You know...considering we both read Summer Love, I would’ve seen you as...anyone to be honest.”

“I’m used to it sometimes.”

For the next few minutes in the kitchen, Amanda had something in mind about Panda since Christmas occurred. “You know when you were supposed to be a grown bear on Christmas Eve?” As Panda looked straight at his girlfriend, she closed her eyes in shame. “My family would’ve met you if they weren't busy.”

Panda’s heart slightly pounded in fear. “You were planning on having your family around, even with your friends?”

Amanda looked at the two candles displayed by the window. “My mother was focusing on having family relatives coming over to my grandparents while my father took care of the shopping last week. I mostly come along for support.”

Meeting Amanda’s friends as a cub was bad enough, but with her family learning about the truth like they did, it would’ve been the last time he’ll ever meet Amanda in his life. “Amanda. I know your parents would never approve of me being-”

“Panda.” Amanda cutting him off. “They did approve, I’ve told them everything.”

Panda stood still with his eyes shot open. “Yo- Your parents…KNOW ABOUT ME!?”

Amanda took a back from Panda’s outburst. She knew he would react in a panicked way, even if she could’ve done it later. “Yes…” She signed. “I told them this because I was feeling very stressed out to keep this a secret from them.”

“Amanda, I thought we agreed to keep our relationship a low profile.”

“You knew my family should know about this. Every one of your friends knows about me ever since I’ve moved here.”

Panda couldn’t disagree, not even a bit. In fact, he’s not even interested in eating another strawberry. “I don’t have the same trust in myself unlike you.” He lowered his head. “I mean, you still trust me, but not me. I’ve made a lot of mistakes in my life that if you knew most of them, you wouldn’t trust me at all.”

His girlfriend felt regretful for letting out her secret she’d kept since the year began. But at the same time, whenever she knows Panda a little more, she can wonder if he ever hit on other girls.

“We all make mistakes, but the thing is, I don’t see you as the cheating kind. When you told me you had a crush on Lucy, I took the time to have a conversation with her before Thanksgiving.” Amanda then looked out the window, keeping it calm as possible. “She told me everything that you did with her. At first I would believe she’s your only crush, but you had more crushes, I don’t think you're aware of what cheating is.”

“You know what…you're right.” Panda being honest. “My biggest fear is that if I had two girlfriends or even more, I would be in a hole that I’d dug myself into. I can only pick one for a lifetime.”

He then sighed while losing air from his lungs. Amanda knew Panda would be aware of the possible consequences he’d get himself in. But she got out of her seat while walking up to Panda, taking him by surprise.

“Have you been hanging out with other girls since we’ve been together?” She gives him a straight face.

“No…not even one.”

Amanda sighed in relief as she gave her boyfriend a hug. “That’s great. That's really great Panda. I knew you wouldn’t cheat on me because I wouldn’t do that to you.”

Panda slowly felt better as he wrapped his arms around Amanda. “It seems the nicer you are to me, the more I’ve become a better boyfriend to you.”

“It shows we have something in common.” Amanda smiled.

Soon they continued to eat a few strawberries until Panda put the rest away. Soon enough, the two watch a romantic fairy tale movie in the living room. Amanda picked a movie she wanted to watch to which Panda allowed it, even if it wasn’t anime. In fact, midway through the film, Panda enjoyed it, almost how Amanda enjoyed fairy tales while growing up.

After the film came to an end, they took out their Valentine’s gift they kept from each other until this day came. “So before we open our gifts, should we also have our love letters out too?” Amanda wondered. “We’re gonna read them after this right?”

“Oh yes, definitely after this.” Panda fearing the moment is closer to happen. “Can I open my gift first?”

“Sure.” Amanda handing her gift to him. The size of the gift was small enough for Panda to put in his room. Upon opening it, it’s a picture between him and Amanda together after swimming at Lake Anzo. Panda blushed, and didn't forget Amanda’s swimsuit from that day as if she knew he would pick this picture out of the other pictures from camp.

When he looked at Amanda, she lidded her eyes. “Admi it, you want me to wear that swimsuit this summer right?”

“Uhh, my brothers are gonna make fun of me once they see this.”

“They'll get over it.”

Despite feeling embarrassed, Panda accepts his girlfriend’s gift. As he placed it on the stool, he gave his gift to her. Amanda noticed it was big compared to the picture, as if Panda went out of his way to pay for it. When she unwrapped it, it’s revealed to be a baby panda plushie, except it has anime style eyes instead of normal ones, with his cheeks blushing. The size of it was the same when Panda was turned into a baby on Christmas Eve, something that Amanda mostly missed, even during the sad realization of the truth.

“You…gave me a sweet baby cub plushie?” Her eyes sparkled in delight.

Panda nodded while regaining his confidence. “I was going to buy a bigger plushie, but not only were they expensive, but I suspected that you’d already have one. But then I also thought you might not have a baby cub plushie.”

Amanda placed her gift on her lap, staring at Panda with an honest look. “I have necessities involving Pandas but from where I live before I moved, no Panda plushies were available.”

The bear was stunned, as if he thought Amanda had everything she adores. “I thought you had it all, you never showed me your old house.”

“I didn’t take any pictures, besides as much as I missed the city I lived in along with my old friends, my old house wasn’t that memorable.” She then looked at the plushie again, relieved that someone brought it for her, instead of her buying it for herself. “But let me tell you, this reminds me how adorable you we’re as a cub.” She then hugged it lightly, closing her eyes to remembering that Christmas Eve that will never happen again. “I would’ve been a good babysitter if I changed my mind.”

Panda remained silent, but he was thankful for succeeding at his goal. He may have given her a nice Christmas gift, but for a Valentine's gift, he was expecting the same gesture. Instead, it was better to where his girlfriend can hug it at night, even in it’s small size.

“Well, maybe on your birthday, do you want a big size Panda plushie?” He offered.

“I’ll think about it.” She placed her gift on the stoll. “Then again, I already have a real Panda in my life.”

“Man, how much can you make me blush?” Panda made an awkward giggle only for Amanda to sit closer to him.

“Because it’s sweet and cute that you easily blush.” She then placed her hand on his hand, while using the other hand to lift it up slowly. She felt the blood rush underneath his fur and skin, always warm and never cold at all. “I can tell you always stay this way, but I’ll never change you to be better as long as we’re happy.”

While feeling both of Amanda’s hands, Panda looked at Amanda after her honest words. “You really think I’m enough for you?”

“You're a panda after all.” As she let go of him, she reached into her backpack, revealing the Valentine’s letter she finished knowing full well of it. “Now there’s one more thing we should do on Valentine’s Day together.”

Panda stared at the red envelope in his girlfriend’s hand. He had to do one more activity before it’s all over with. “Yeah, it’s in my bedroom, I’ll go get it.” He got off the sofa while heading to his bedroom.

“Remember, you read my letter and I’ll read yours.” Amanda said, waiting patiently.

“I know, I’m aware.” As he stepped foot in his bedroom, he went to his bookshelf while he hid his Valentine’s letter in between the books. He took out the pink envelope but then he sighed, remaining still without a second thought. “Well, this is it. It could either be good…or really…” He stopped himself, he couldn’t finish knowing the reaction from Amanda could be scary. He put his heart into writing what she feels about her ever since she met her at Bay Arena. “I just hope she understands once she’s done reading every single word.”

He wasted little time, holding onto the envelope as he left his room. He headed back to the living room as he sat back down on the sofa. “So do you want to read my letter first or do you want me to read yours?”

With a chance to avoid the moment a little longer, Panda stuck to the first choice. “I’ll read yours.” He answered. “I’ve been looking forward to reading your letter since Christmas.”

“So am I.” She smiled. “I've actually been wondering what you really feel about me.” While losing breath from his lungs slightly, Amanda took notice. “Here.” She handed him her red envelope. “You will like what I feel about you, I would appreciate it.”

“Okay.” He took the envelope from his girlfriend as he opened it. He took out the letter and witnessed two hearts on the cover. Panda’s name on the left and Amanda’s name on the other. When he opened it to see what Amanda wrote down, he didn’t read it out loud in front of her. He read it in his mind to keep all of his emotions to himself. He refuses to give his girlfriend any judgment knowing this was her very first letter she gave to anyone.

But once he reached the final paragraphs, he stopped with his entire face turned red. If any other girl sent him a letter, they would only write something nice to him, but that’s not what Amanda did at all.

“Panda?” She replied to which Panda slowly shaked.

“Were you…serious about what you feel while you write?” He replied.

“Yes, let me read it for you.” Without having second thoughts, Amanda took the letter from him. As Panda lowered his arm, he paid attention to what Amanda wrote down.

“Dear Panda,

From the day we both agreed to be boyfriend and girlfriend, life has never been better for me. When my family gets the chance to meet you, unaware you’re a panda, I pray to the heavens they won’t treat you as a terrible boyfriend. They’ve raised me with much more care than you could imagine. Unfortunately, you will never know what it feels to have a real mother and father who protected you to become a better person.

Midway through the letter, Panda adored what she wrote so far. If only he could remember what his parents were like, her letter would warm his heart in happiness. But what caught him to blush hard was the final sentences of Amanda’s clean handwriting.

But it didn’t stop you in life. You always push yourself to prove what you really wanted…a sweet, lovely, not to mention best girlfriend. And what that girlfriend thinks of you is for how your heart is in the right place. You’re cute, gullible, fun to play with, and mostly importantly, a one of a kind in a species that’s rare. If there’s a wish or bit of advice I could give to our relationship, it is to never feel horrible about being a bear, nor being a panda. I Love You.

Your Girlfriend,
Amanda”

Panda’s heart pounded hard, with his cheeks turning hot red after he heard the final three words from Amanda’s mouth. As for Amanda, she closed her eyes, while giggling from her boyfriend’s reaction.

“Ha ha ha, ha ha ha ha. You were surprised when I said the three magic and romantic words.” Amanda opened her eyes. “I know what I wrote, but it had to come out sooner or later.”

“Well…I guess you really showed me your pride of loving pandas.” Panda awkwardly smiled.

“That wasn’t my pride as a hobby, it was all about you.” He couldn’t even describe the moment he’s experiencing for the first time, only for Amanda to hand him the letter as a token to revisit from time to time. “Anyway, it’s time to read your letter.”

“Wait!” Panda rushed forward just before Amanda took the pink envelope. “I want to point out that…my letter is…”

“Embarrassing?” Amanda guessed.

“I wouldn’t say that…it’s just…gooey…” Panda had no more excuses to prevent his letter to Amanda. But then he sighed while being honest with her. “But please, I don’t make any lies of what I wrote, I’m always truthful of what I feel.”

Amanda looked at the envelope again then to Panda again. She wasn’t mad nor suspicious but her judgment remains after taking everything into consideration. She opened the envelope and took out the letter. As she began to read it, Panda paid attention to her, with no turning back.

“Dear Amanda

When I saw you when we were reading Summer Love, I was hoping it was destiny for the both of us. I wanted a girlfriend, but you wanted a panda in your life. After I gave you back your phone, you left San Francisco, if you didn’t come back, it would’ve been the last I would see you. Except we’d never met face to face. Everytime I look at your face, it’s far more beautiful to be considered hot. But looks weren't enough to describe that life would never be the same without you.

You always think of others who will do the same to you. When I’m with you in your sweetest behavior, birds sing to make nature a better place. Your voice makes deers come together so they can express love. From the way you stand out from your looks, you make butterflies and rabbits appear, seeing you as a wonderful girl in mother nature. If it wasn’t for you accepting to be my girlfriend, I don’t know where you would’ve gone.

If it wasn’t for me finding you before you left, you would never come back. The scariest thing is, you’re not getting kidnapped. If you end up buying a new phone, it won’t represent what you adore, unlike what your old phone did to you. Because you wouldn’t think of me if I wasn’t there. Sometimes, your belongings are what keeps you from feeling down. Which is what I thought when I was single.

If there was a moment at the right time, I would kiss your lucky cheek to have love heal your body. Even if I’m not the best boyfriend in the world, I’ll keep you occupied until the end of time like a whole manga anthology. I Love You.

Your Boyfriend,
Panda”

Amanda felt speechless after reading every single word in the letter, she was not even surprised. Her heart felt like it was zapped by lightning, but at the same time it pulled it strings. Panda’s still sitting in place after everything has finally come out to Amanda. Soon she lowered the letter from her view, but she didn’t make any eye contact with her boyfriend.

After thirty seconds of silence, it broke when Amanda closed her eyes, but thankfully giggled. “He he he he he.” She didn’t blush after reading everything as she standed up. “I have to say Panda, you really showed me honesty.”

Panda signed in relief. “You think so? Even during the gooey bits?”

“Of course.” Amanda placed her hand on her hip upon looking at the letter again. “In fact, I wasn’t expecting it to be even better than my letter.”

“Well I did it all by myself. Believe me, I had to scrap so many letters just to make it perfect.”

“Well let me tell you, you almost made Valentine’s Day wonderful for me.”

“You’re welcome Amanda.” After Panda got off of the sofa, he was about to give Amanda a hug, but she stopped him before doing so.

“I said almost.”

Panda thought his final step was over with, but after getting denied, it’s not even close to what he expected. “But you like the letter don’t you?”

“I didn’t like it.” She leaned in to be closer to Panda. “I LOVE it.”

“Was it a little too much?” Panda said, cheeks blushing.

“Is that a problem?”

“In actuality, kind of?”

Amanda continued to make cute giggles, finding Panda’s words predictable to her liking. “Let’s go in your room for some privacy, shall we?”

“Wait what?” Panda acting dumbfounded.

“This night is between the both of us right?” Amanda placed her hand on his hand. “I’m gonna give you something you will cherish forever.”

When Panda turned to his bedroom door, he could only think Amanda would be reading with him. Even if he’s not expecting a lot from her, he’ll still be willing to show his care towards his girlfriend.

“Okay, let’s go then.”

“I need to do something first, you just wait until I’m ready.”

“No problem.” As her boyfriend headed straight to his bedroom, Amanda took out her backpack while taking out her phone. But that wasn’t it, she took out her makeup box taking one item she knew Panda would enjoy from her.

After that, she heads inside Panda’s bedroom with Panda sitting on his mattress. Once she closed the door behind her, she placed both of her hands behind her back. “Were you waiting for the right moment to kiss me?”

“I was waiting for a time where you got really sad, like crying after getting emotionally hurt.” Panda answered.

“Really?”

“Well, I couldn’t imagine you feeling that way so…I doubt it will happen any time soon.”

“Who could blame you? But instead of waiting for that moment to happen…” She took a few steps further to Panda. “...How about you do it now?”

“What!?” Panda reacted.

“You heard me, give it to my lucky cheek.” Amanda pointed at her left cheek.

“But I’m not ready yet.”

“It’s just a simple kiss, besides you only ate chocolate covered strawberries, your breath still smells fine.” As she leaned closer, Panda was sweating, knowing he never kissed a girl’s cheek. “Don’t be ashamed if you didn’t do it better, just close your eyes and only think about me.”

Upon taking Amanda’s advice, Panda knows he wouldn’t get another opportunity like this. Even if he’s not ready, his girlfriend would accept his attempt of effort. “Okay, it’s now or never.” He stood up.

“Good choice.”

As he walked up to her, he closed his eyes while puckering up. He slowly leaned towards her, but his heart was pounding harder when he’s close to her. He refuses to back out, but he doesn’t want his girlfriend to wait any longer.

Then Amanda took out her phone and put it in selfie mode, the sounds were turned off as she saw her and Panda on the screen. She pressed and held the record button just seconds before the kiss. Then Panda kissed her lucky cheek which caused Amanda to blush in happiness. She winked at her phone while doing a peace sign pose with her other hand.

Just when Panda backed away from her, Amanda let go of the record button, turned off her phone and put it back in her pocket. Soon, Panda opened his eyes while panting calmly. “So…how was it?”

“It was cute.” She answered while placing her hand on her lucky cheek. “It was just enough to make me proud.”

“Oh, thank goodness…” Panda sitting back down on his mattress. “For a second I thought I’d made a slight mistake.”

“He he he. And now it’s time for me to return the favor.” She then took out pink lipstick from her other pocket. Upon taking the cap off, she painted her lips while his boyfriend’s eyes were shot open. He stared at her lips being painted in pink slowly by the second. Just when his heart couldn’t pound any harder, it reached its limit.

“A-Amanda??” He shook while Amanda’s lips were covered in pink lipstick.

“Don’t be afraid.” She lidded her eyes while putting the lipstick back in her pocket. “Just relax and enjoy.”

Panda slowly backed away from Amanda only for him to bump his head up against his pillows. Amanda however, got on top of Panda’s body, lifting both of her legs up, leaving him in a position, unable to push her off. She placed both hands on his cheeks, while looking down at her favorite animal.

“What I love about your letter is how I make the forest a better place for any animal. And what I see in you is a cute teddy bear in a grown panda's body.”

“You think so??” He looked up at her. “But I didn’t imagine you having lipstick on.”

“It would never scare any animal, including you, right?”

“Yes…”

“Admit it, you wanted this moment to happen, didn't you? If you say you love me, it would be a matter of time to do this activity again. And trust me, I will never get bored of doing it again and again.”

Panda would hope this is a once in a lifetime chance, but he’ll get more if he’s honest with Amanda. Him laying on his bed with the girlfriend of his dreams laying on top of him while preparing to kiss him nonstop will take him to heaven. All that's needed is Amanda to come with him.

“Please tell me? You love me?” She spoke with a sweet tone.

“I love you.” Panda smiled while Amanda giggled for the last time.

“I love you too.”

She kissed on Panda’s right cheek, taking her time to make each kiss memorable to him. As she kissed just an inch away, Panda slowly giggled with both of his cheeks turning red. Then Amanda focused on his other cheek, pressing her lips nicely while closing her eyes every time. Just when things couldn’t get any better for Panda, Amanda laid her head on his chest, listening and feeling his heartbeat.

“This is what I’ve been waiting for.” She relaxed above Panda’s fur. “If you adopted me as your human daughter, I would love to sleep on top of you, because you're that warm.”

While still being bedazzled, Panda found Amanda’s words aspiring. “I wouldn’t mind at all. I can tell you would’ve been a sweet little girl.”

Then Amanda lifted her head up to get back to please him. “If only you we’re a cub, our first meeting would’ve been wonderful.”

She kissed on more different spots on Panda’s face, leaving Panda mesmerized by her lips. It was better than the other kisses he received from her, including her friends when he was a cub. With her lips colored pink being his favorite color, nothing will ever top this moment. Making his first Valentine’s Day the best holiday of the year.

The sun rose with Valentine’s Day officially over for the year. After having breakfast with Chloe’s family, Grizz and Ice Bear head back to their cave to meet their brother. Grizz opened the door and saw no one in the living room.

“Panda we’re home!” He called. “How was your date with Amanda?”

The two bears noticed Amanda’s letter to Panda still laying on the stool. Ice Bear picked it up and read the two paragraphs in a short amount of time. “Ice Bear’s brother got eternal love.”

“Oh so he did succeed!”

With the polar bear nodding, they both head to their brother’s bedroom. Upon opening the door, they saw Panda sleeping underneath his blanket. They both walked up to him as Ice Bear pulled the blanket from Panda. When they saw his face covered in pink kiss marks from cheeks to forehead, they couldn’t hold their laughter but at the same time it made Panda too cute.

“This is too irresistible.” Grizz covering his mouth.

“Ice Bear found more than ten kisses of romantic luck.” Ice Bear commented.

Then Panda slightly moved, waking up after falling asleep after Amanda left while taking her letter from him. “Good morning Amanda, my favorite angel of love…” He smiled only to notice his brothers were here. He looked around and his girlfriend was nowhere to be found. “Amanda?”

“She probably headed back home last night.” Grizz replied. “But let me tell you, she gave you a valentine’s makeover bro.”

“I know…” Panda blushed again.

The three brothers sat at the kitchen table while Panda told the entire story with his brothers. “I think the last thing I’d remembered last night was when Amanda tucked me in bed when I was so tired and kissed me on the cheek for the last time.”

“It seems she wants to give you a good night farewell.” Grizz said, placing his hands on his cheeks. “If only we actually saw what you wrote in that letter, we would understand why Amanda had fun with you.”

“Valentine's letters are supposed to be private Grizz.” Panda replied. “But then again, I would’ve trusted you for an impression.”

“Ice Bear’s an expert at emotional impressions.” Ice Bear commented.

“So anyway, I think we’re officially on the same page. Granted she told me that her family knew about me, but hopefully we can work that out.”

“Hey, we went to Chloe’s family reunion despite Cousin Joe, maybe Amanda’s family would be nice to us.” Grizz making a positive attitude.

After the night Panda had with his girlfriend last night, he can still live and hope once that day happens. As a matter of fact, he’ll probably need his brother’s help for support.

“Ice Bear forgot to thank Chloe’s mother for kimchi eggs.” Ice Bear replied.

“Yeah can he use your phone so he can text Chloe to thank her mother?” Grizz added.

“Sure.” Panda handing Ice Bear his phone. Upon receiving it, Ice Bear headed to the living room to text Chloe. “I would admit that now Valentine's Day is behind us, it would be awhile until I hang out with Amanda again. We need to put all of this away.”

“Yeah.” Grizz looking at the decorated cave. “But since we just got back, we should play a video game.”

“Agreed, I need to keep my mind off on something else for a while.”

As the two bears head out of the kitchen, they notice that Ice Bear’s looking at Panda’s phone. “Ice Bear?”

Ice Bear looked at his brothers with his eyes still in disbelief. All he did was show his brothers what’s trending online. Amanda posted the video of Panda kissing her cheeking, which reached nearly five thousand likes since last night.

“Is that…me??” Panda pointed.

“She recorded your kiss.” Grizz feeling speechless.

It wasn’t even enough, Ice Bear scrolled down with more posts from Amanda. Two pictures of her tucking Panda in his bed and her kissing him on the cheek with a smile on his face. Not only that, she hashtagged Teddy Panda Bear and KissPanda, which is currently the highest trending topic on the internet.

“I think her parents would definitely see you as adorable, but not this way.”

“What was she thinking!” Panda placing his hands on his head. “Everyone is gonna see that I’m Amanda’s boyfriend!”

“But she didn’t hashtag boyfriend.”

“How’s that a good sign!?” Panda retorted while showing Grizz his face. “People could see the boyfriend slash girlfriend all over it!”

They then head their front door banged on, to which Panda answered. Once he opened the door, he saw screaming girls pulling him outside.

“It’s him!” A blonde girl pointed.

“It’s the Teddy Panda Bear!” A brown hair girl squealed.

“And look at his face!” A black girl added.

“Awww!!!” All the girls cheered in delight.

Panda was shaking that more than twenty girls were around him, adoring the kiss marks on his face. He rushed back inside the cave while shutting the door. “I should’ve washed my face the moment I woke up!”

“Panda!” Grizz stopped his brother before he headed to the bathroom. “I don’t think Amanda meant for this to happen.”

“Possibly, but how would she feel about the screaming girls?”

“Ice Bear can’t fight off innocent social media girls.” Ice Bear looking outside the window.

As Panda and Grizz also looked at the window, the girls wanted Panda to come back out to meet him. Panda refuses to cheat on his girlfriend, but with him becoming a trending topic for the third time in his life, he had to face the unexpected, for better or worse. He can tell the girls are nice unlike the ones he hit on in the past.

“This feels way a lot more popular than my sneezing fit.” Panda lowered his head.

“What are you gonna do?” Grizz added.

Panda immediately lifted his head up to face his newest fear. “I’m going out.”

“Panda wait!”

“I got this.” He turned back to his brother. He opened the door again to meet the screaming girls again. He walked further only for the girls to surround him, no way out in his predicament. “Quiet!” He shouted to all the girls cheering. “If you expect me to hang out with one of you, I’m staying at the cave for the day.”

All of the girls looked at each other after listening to the trending panda. “We’re not asking you to hang out with us.” A girl with glasses replied.

“We just thought we would put lipstick on so we could give you kisses.” A girl with dyed orange hair.

“You do know that girl who posted those trends, is my girlfriend right?” Panda responded, not too keen on the idea.

“It’s fine, we just wanna do it for the trend.” A girl wearing a leather jacket replied. “You're the cutest bear online right now.”

Upon taking the words in consideration, Panda thinks his girlfriend may have been on to something after all. He got used to becoming a panda sneeze sensation, he might find some enjoyment out of this.

“Get in line, girls.” He called to which all the girls cheered again, all the while taking their lipsticks out.

After fifteen minutes, Panda got to the final girl to kiss him. After giving the girl a hug, she left, while Panda heads back inside the cave. Both of his brothers were watching the whole time, they couldn’t believe he would risk it.

“Now I can see fan girl kisses from your face.” Grizz looking at his brother’s face.

“Don’t worry. I actually enjoyed being out there for them.” Panda signed. “I’m actually not into them like I used to be.”

Both Grizz and Ice Bear were shocked to hear those words from Panda’s mouth. “Wait, you didn’t flinch?”

“Not even a bit, it wasn’t difficult anymore. Maybe Amanda wanted me to show that I would never cheat on her. She just wanted to show me a panda being loved by everyone.”

“Ice Bear agrees.” Ice Bear replied.

“I think I can finally see Amanda’s true love towards pandas.” Grizz smiled.

“She really tested me, I really need to thank her for that.” Panda taking the phone from Ice Bear.

“Shouldn’t you clean up your face first?”

“I would but first, I need to take a selfie.” He turned on selfie mode and took a picture of himself, with the kiss marks of different colors on his face.

At Amanda’s place, Amanda is laying on her bed hugging her panda cub plushie. She received a notification from her boyfriend, she checked her phone and witnessed Panda’s kissing face. Not only did she laugh at it, she loved it, to see her favorite animal getting admiration in San Francisco.

“My family’s gonna like him.” She smiled. “I just know it.”
