So, it's been over six months since I last posted a blog, and it makes me feel kinda guilty, since I haven't really interacted with any of you other than in the comments. So, here's just a quick rundown of what's going on.
For the past 4-5 months I've been in marching band as the Bass 4 in drumline, which has taken up a majority of my would be free time. The rest that isn't spent writing is usually because of a number of different activities such as video games, chilling with friends, and going on a few dates. However, today was freakin' crazy.
It actually all started yesterday, when I had an unusual pair of bloody noses out of the blue. It was abnormal for me, but I wasn't really concerned until I had another one at 1 am this morning that lasted over half an hour. From there, things got worse and frequency of the bloody noses came sooner. As of yet, I've had 8 bloody noses in 24 hours, though they've stopped now. That's mainly because we went to the hospital to see how we could fix it. You see, we knew that I had a vein that had grown thin thanks for growth spurts and had been exposed in my nose, but we didn't a have a solution for it yet. Oh, but the doctors did. Essentially, they cauterized my nose, which looks really... grotesque. Basically my entire right nostril on the inside is comprised of burnt skin and boogers, but it won't stop leaking snot. I'm fine, the procedure took less than five minutes, but it was still quite the experience, and considering how fast it all happened, it wasn't painful. Now it's more uncomfortable than actually painful, and like I said, constantly leaking like I have a cold.
Anyways, there's my little update for you. I was a bit loopy this morning from minor blood loss, and seeing as I hadn't eaten breakfast yet, I said this gem of a Dexter quote: "I've eaten nothing but blood today."
