Over The Rainbow Bridge, Sleeping In Light · 3:06am Oct 18th, 2021
Hey, Everyone. I know it's been a while since my last blog post. I have a bit of unfortunate news to share with you all.
My beloved cat of 15 years, Miss Kitty, crossed the Rainbow Bridge earlier this evening (about 6:15 pm CDT). She had been battling ataxia in her hind legs and renal failure for the last year or so. But in the last two weeks, her health started to take a turn for the worse. It didn't seem so bad at first, but my brother got concerned for her this afternoon when she was no longer well enough to eat or drink.
We took her to the emergency vet, and there we learned the terrible news: her liver had pretty much given up the ghost, and without that, there wasn't much they could do for her except end her suffering.
