I am currently in a slump · 3:04am Aug 20th, 2021
I'd just recently put another chapter of MabsoA. And I am sure, I lot would have noticed it took a awful lot of time to make. Nearly five months. It is a long to wait, I know and I am ashamed of it. I would like to say it is because it was a hard chapter to write... and it was, indeed. But the truth is doesn't explain it because the true reason for such slowness is... I am losing my motivation. Even though I know what each scenes will be, is it becoming more hard to find the right words to put in screen. In fact, it was taken so much time that I had no choice but to split the chapter in two. 12 and the future 13 was supposed to be the two half of one chapter. In the end, it was a good call. It would have become far too long.
And to top it all on what I mentioned previously, I have losing confidence in my writing ability and I am beginning to think that all I had done is a fraud. The truth is even after having finished the chapter 12, rewrote and corrected it, it took two entire weeks just to publish the finish product because... of complicate reasons. All that to say that unfortunately, I had fallen into a serious slump and that it negatively affected my work. So, I know what you want to know. What does it mean about Magical and Beautiful stories of Anguish? Does it mean I am giving up on it for good?
HELL NO.
As I had say once say it in the past, I love that story too much to not see it one day to fruition, you can count on that. Still, because of that slump, you probably should expect to see its progress at a much slower pace. But, there is still that slump. So what will I do to deal with it? Well, here the actual main topic of that post. To put my mind elsewhere, I have decided to work on a second project.
That's right, I am working rights now on a second fanfic.
That second fanfic would be much simpler, shorter and mainly focused on comedy. So it would be far easier to write than the big one with complex themes. I had already started writing so expect the firsts chapters very soon.
But on what that comedic fanfic would be? Humm, that... would be a surprise. Let us just say it would be about the funny adventure, or misadventures, of a certain pony.
