I’ve been trying to write the next chapter of ‘Twilight and Skaterloo: Mother and Son’ but I’m stuck on how everyone gets to the Everfree Forest. I want to bridge Twilight her Canterlot friends and the rest of the Mane 6 finding the Elements of Harmony book and actually going there but just can’t get an idea down that works.

Well, maybe try having Twilight's Canterlot friends stopping at the entrance to the Everfree Forest, but Twilight asks them to help keep the ponies of Ponyville safe. Even take Skaterloo back to the Golden Oaks Library to stay with Spike, but Skaterloo sneaks away to follow the Mane 6 and stay hidden, but when they get to the cliffside, Skaterloo also gets caught by the slide, Twilight notices when they were heading towards the cliff, and she grabs the colt, and Applejack catches them both before they go down the cliff.

Hmmm might use that. I did want to have Skaterloo be involved to give Twilight a personal reason to get involved. Thing is I’m having trouble bridging them going to the Forest and learning the Elements are there. Thanks for the idea it helps
