The day I hate the most

In about another 2 months, it will be my birthday.
Due to Covid-19, I had to cancel all my plans but the year before that I had an argument with my mom.

She kept telling me to get ready so she could take me out but each time my answer was "No!" and during the argument she said that I had to do something for my birthday but I told her otherwise and said "I'm tired of this birthday party NONSENSE!" finally she gave up and said I had to stop.

Stop what? Unless it's against the law to skip your birthday, I see nothing wrong in doing it.
