Well, here we go... · 7:09am Dec 3rd, 2012
...Are we rolling? You sure? Oh, the red light's on. Okay, good. I-- Crap, my mic fell off. CUT!

Okay, we're rolling now? Well, just-- Don't yell at me!
*take 3*
Alright, so I guess I'll start by saying, if you're reading this, that must mean I have at least ONE follower and I'm doing something right. Awesome.
This is my first FIMFiction.net blog post (hooray for me). And I've been a member for, what, a little over two months now? Figured it was about time to establish myself and what I'm all about. First off, I write mostly comedic slice-of-life stories (the two stories I already have up are a pretty good indicator of that), but on occasion I'll delve into other genres like Adventure (little more on that further down). Truth be told, I almost steered clear of writing my own FIMFictions and stuck to solely reading them; at one time it was one of those things that I liked so much, I didn't think my original work would do it the justice it deserved. But after the events of a weekend a few weeks back, I was compelled to write The Brony That Wasn't. Felt a bit therapeutic actually. Plus, I'm a fan of all things fantasy, and MLP seemed like the ideal outlet. A little forewarning though: all of my work (past and present) is TERRIBLY amateurish; I do all of the editing and proofreading myself. Hope that isn't a deal breaker.
Secondly, I thought I'd also take this opportunity to mention and get some feedback (if any at all) on FIMFictions I have planned. I have a number of story ideas swimming around in my head, but right now I can confirm an upcoming two:
- An alternate universe MLP/Kingdom Hearts crossover that adapts the two-part series premiere (think "Friendship is Magic Parts 1 and 2 with a KH twist")
- A romance story that pairs Lily Valley of the "flower trio" with an OC (why Lily, you may ask? a number of reasons, the most prominent being that Lily seems to have -- in my opinion anyways -- the least exposure/face time out of herself, Daisy, and Roseluck)
Not sure which I'll tackle first, but neither will be tackled until Diamond Snow is completed (which should be in the next couple of days).
Lastly, unlike Diamond Snow, which saw updates every 1 to 2 days, future FIMFiction updates will most likely be more spread out (not TOO spread out; I never like leaving an incomplete story without updates for very long), the reason for this being I have college courses and social activities that consume much of my free time.
That's it for now, I think. Think I've said all I needed to say for the time being.
ImperfectXIII, out.
