Hello, guys. Here is my review of Rollercoaster of Friendship, the second of the next five special episodes of Equestria Girls. I honestly felt like I was being tormented by these ridiculous storylines these specials are so desperately trying to properly convey through the writing. We are on a tremendous roll with these guys, aren’t we? Guess what? We have yet another atrocious, poorly written, annoying, and meaningless antagonist pushing this boring plotline forward for our heroines. If you ask me, this was just as stupid as the previous episode except this has the most shipping fuel I’ve ever seen. My goodness, the romantic tension was real in this!

How close are Applejack and Rarity in terms of their friendship? They act like an old married couple for some reason, and this type of tension is something I don’t think I’ve ever seen before in Equestria Girls. If I recall, they were never that close and now they are behaving as if they are BFFs and have to stick to it? If that was what they were going for, they should have at least established some buildup to their relationship in the earlier episodes or films so that it doesn’t feel completely out of nowhere. You can ship them all you want, but like I said many times before, I don’t like shipping characters that much unless there’s a reason for it. Just my opinion.

While I appreciate what this episode was going for—just because you have many followers on social media doesn’t mean they are your actual friends and how our words can hurt people—it was just muddled with a boring plot and unfunny humor.

As for Vignette Valencia, she was just as terrible as Wallflower Blush. She was really irritating and annoying to watch as most of these EG villains. Screw her and her reformation. I’ll give this episode a D. Thanks for reading and stay tuned for my review of Spring Breakdown.

Peace.

I thought what Pinkie Pie did was unsanitary.

I was relatively neutral towards this episode, but at the same time...I also consider it one of my least favorites.

Everything about the supposed “romantic tension” between Applejack and Rarity completely went against the fact that the two of them came together to be friends, and it was openly cringy beyond anything. There wasn’t even any buildup to explain how close they were as friends at all despite that not being the case in previous installments. And like I already said, Vignette Valencia was the worst antagonist/reform in EG

Is it weird that I'm still one of those that likes Vignette Valencia anyways, regardless of what the writers put her through in this special?

I mean... heh.... she does have one great design of course :3

Well, that's your personal opinion. We all have different tastes.
