Hey, everyone. Here is my review of Movie Magic, part two of the 1 Hour long special called Equestria Girls: Magical Movie Night. This was a much better and enjoyable episode than the previous one although it unfortunately suffers from Rainbow Dash’s annoying fangirlism and some other character whom I will rant about. It not only satisfied my expectations but also provided an interesting storyline as a continuation from the last episode... in an indirect way. Plus, it was indeed nice they brought in a few new characters in this episode, one of which I really hate.

The story was really interesting as we see Sunset and the gang be a part of a movie experience and provide some assistance to Canter Zoom, the film director. Oh, and I like to see this as a way of how Equestria Girls would behave in a movie setting like this one. Hmm, I actually wonder how they would interact with Michael Bay and his movies. 😏

The voice acting was terrific as always and the songs were good as well. However, I really did not like the actress Chestnut Magnifico. Oh my goodness, she was so unbearable especially in listening to her shenanigans. I know there are some actors and actresses who are like that sometimes (especially that one time with Christian Bale 🤣), but this felt way too exaggerated. Now as for this bitch of an antagonist:

I have the most brilliant question for this lady: Why? Why did you have to be that stupid? In fact, why do you even exist? First off, she knew very well she cannot act and has no acting experience and yet she continued to pull a stupid, deceitful stunt like that which sabotaged the movie project and put the people involved at risk? Wow, she was that narcissistic, huh? Yet she had the nerve to blame Sunset and her friends for getting herself kicked out which was HER fault to begin with.

Yep, there are people who are like that in reality. Idiots will blame the other person for the consequences they receive because of their own poor decisions in life. I’m actually happy she was actually punished at the end instead of just being forgiven only. Remember, actions have consequences. The other villains didn’t get that treatment unfortunately.

That’s what I really hate about Juniper Montage. She may be cute, but she was annoying as a character. I guess you can say she couldn’t get her “act” together. Get it? 😂

Ughh, yeah, she was the major downside of this episode while almost everything else was pretty good. I’ll give this a straight B. Thanks for reading and stay tuned for my review of Mirror Magic.

Peace!

It was kinda funny seeing the CHS girls in the exact Power Ponies costumes as their counterparts.

I do like Juniper Montage's glasses though.

Any character that wears glasses be it male or female, especially like cat eye glasses in the case of Juniper here, is awesome in my book and does add in a adorkable factor for them.

I mean after all.... I myself wear glasses in real life. X3

In my opinion, the worst of the Equestria Girls antagonists/reforms was Vignette Valencia.

What do you think of Wallflower Blush, by any chance?

That’s too soon to ask. Wait for it tomorrow.
