Chapter 8 Progress (Update 2) · 6:27am Apr 14th, 2021
Alright, time for another update. First off I want to both thank all of you for reading Harmonious Destiny and being patient with me during these long breaks.
I’ve had a lot of upheaval in my day to day life and it’s all kind of come to a head this week. I’ve begun training for a new job and will therefore have less time (as evidence by the amount of time Ch. 8 has been in progress) to devote solely to writing. Depending on how I feel the chapter has shaped up length and story wise I MIGHT be able to get a rough version done and ready for proofreading sometime this weekend. That depends on how drained I am from having to drive to the different facilities for my new job and redoing my sleep schedule as well.
I really am sorry it’s taken so long, especially when things are getting ready to really kick off in the story, I’m just as frustrated as you all no doubt are. No matter what though, I intend to finish this story and that will not change. It may have periods where I only release update logs like this, but sooner or later this story will be completed for all to read and enjoy.
For now that’s about all I have sadly. If I don’t end up feeling satisfied with how much this chapter has progressed the overall story, then I’ll either release another blog with a small snippet of Ch. 8 that isn’t too significant to the plot or perhaps try and do some sort of Q&A for folks that have questions about characters, lore and so on. Let me know what you think of that just in case, and please feel free to ask questions either here in the blogs or on the chapters themselves!
