Yes, yes, YES!!! Finally, a worthy Thor film! This masterpiece is already legendary!

Words cannot express how much I felt so happy and satisfied I was with this movie. It has almost every single thing that I wanted in a Thor film: comedy that is actually funny, consistent character development, great writing, a story that is INVESTING, villains with personality and motive, and action that is memorable. Why couldn’t we get this type of movie from the beginning? I had high expectations before watching it... and I was not disappointed. This is the only Thor movie so far that has plenty of scenes that are just so rewatchable and awesome.

Do you want to know something else? There are no human characters in this film at all. No, Jane Foster, no trashy dull scenes with her friends, none. They are completely absent in this film. That made me smile like a maniac. That was the number one factor that contributed to this film’s greatness for me.

Thor and Loki are even more hilarious and fantastic as a dynamic brotherly duo than ever before. The writers did a great job developing their characters especially Loki’s. Every time he uttered sarcastic lines of dialogue, I would laugh. Even the part where they played “Get help”, that was so funny to see that irritating Loki. The humor was spot-on and delivered timely. Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston did amazingly as always.

The cinematography is even better than it was in the two previous films since it is filled with great imagery, animation, and editing. Even the CGI looked so beautiful. This puts the previous two movies to shame.

Now, I want to talk about the villains in this. First off, Hela (played by Cate Blanchett) was very menacing and intimidating. It’s always amazing to see another villain who is so incredibly powerful and almost invincible. The prior villains can’t even hold a candle to her! She was amazingly well done and well written. Oh, and uh... she was really hot. Sexy design if I may add. (Awkwardly clears throat) Moving on.........

Secondly, I am genuinely fascinated with this guy named Surtur. He was honestly the best part and the best villain of this movie for me. His fiery design and no-nonsense personality won me over, and the fact that he was so committed to fulfill his destiny by carrying out Ragnarok is something that makes me like him a lot. He is one of the few villains who actually won at the end even though all of Asgardian people evacuated. That is very rare to see. So........ are you feeling it now, Mr. Krabs—I mean, Mr. Surtur?

I liked even the new characters such as Grandmaster even though he was a little annoying, the Hulk, Skurge, Valkyrie, and several others. Superb acting with great dialogue and casting!! This is the best of the trilogy that gets an 11/10! Seriously, this was a breath of fresh air after watching two boring trash-filth Thor movies. Thanks to this one, I look forward to Thor: Love and Thunder with great interest.

Peace!

Thor: Love and Thunder?

I've been busy cleaning up water damage. So no, I haven't. Phase 4?

Search it up when you get a chance. There’s a fourth one coming next year.

Awesome. About time some good news came.

Jeff Goldblum was, without a doubt, the best part of the movie.

Technically, he only destroyed the planet in the end. If the people didn’t evacuate and weren’t saved by Thor and company, then he would’ve surely won.

I see where you’re coming from, but that’s not what I meant. Surtur still managed to destroy Asgard even though it was vacated. He still fulfilled the doomsday prophecy. Regardless whether the people were saved or not, he still won in a way. That was my point.

I agree. Despite not having much screen time, he was deeply fun to watch. I’m definitely all in for him reprising his role in a future MCU installment.

I see.

It’s been a while since I last saw this movie, but I remember enjoying it a lot. The irony behind it all is that one of my older sisters and brother-in-laws apparently hated this film.

In all honesty, I deeply wish Marvel would make a Thor miniseries that takes place between this film and “Age of Ultron”. I love that they made Thor more comedic and laidback, but I can’t help but want to see them create something to address this change of character.

You know what I mean?
