"I really need some advice this time, and this is for totally different reasons. It happened the other night on Twitter. MisAnthroPony posted something about Trump's second impeachment, and Countess replied something about Trump shouldn't be impeached. It was over last week's riot at the Capitol. I chimed in and Countess and I started to have an argument of Trump inciting the crowd into starting the "insurrection". She wanted me to provide evidence, like a date and time. Yet we both know he said to "storm the capitol", and his supporters did. There is also evidence that security was lax on purpose, and Trump didn't call in the National Guard, it was the mayor of DC. So we're arguing over Trump being the one responsible for last week's events. Countess, no doubt a Trump supporter, and I hate Trump with a fiery passion, and I'm not a far leftist like she accused me of. Then things escalated, and called her a cultist, like every other Trump supporter. Because in my defense Trump supporters are cultists who have drank his Kool-Aid of lies and conspiracies with zero evidence towards them. Eventually she blocked me on Twitter, In my anger, I blocked her on here. I was trying to be friends with her, without trying to force her to be my friend mind you. Yes, I indeed learned my lesson from three years ago. Yet I do feel a bit upset I was quick to anger. Especially when it come to Trump. For four years I was saying he was an idiot until now. It was all an act. He was just playing an idiot, when Trump knew what he was doing the entire time. The whole cult thing is a can of worms I'll open another time though. Anyway, what should I do? How should I make amends this time? Is there anyway to make amends? Should I apologize, even though I still think Trump supporters are officially a cult?"
I sent that to Summer Sketch's, as a DA note, the other night for advice on what I should do about Countess Rose over an argument we had on one of MisAnthroPony's Twitter posts. Of course it was over the events of Jan. 6 2021, when rioters stormed the Capitol building to ensure Donald Trump remained as President of the United States.
The incident being the reason why Trump was banned from Twitter, other social media sites, and then impeached a second time.
I ask for advice and what happens? Summer bans me, oh and I sent this to Aleximus Prime and he gave no response. Why does no one want to help me out here? Did I screw up so badly that now everyone wants to keep their distance from me? Is it true? That I can never change for the better? No wonder why I hate politics. Yet every time I think I'm out, it pulls me back in...
My advice is to stop caring about politics and improve your own life so much that politics becomes meaningless to you.
I'm a Trump supporter as well. Or at least, I was. I don't condone violence except when it's absolutely necessary, in self-defense. The Capitol Hill riot was obviously not self-defense. I'm also a registered Democrat, and I'm thoroughly disgusted with my own party. I support the conservative side slightly more than the Democrats and the self-identified Left in America, but beyond that, Trump is done.
The two-party system is crap and has been for centuries. There's more than just two ways to do things, and both big parties in America act with such unilateralism that it's just tyranny by another name. I just hope when the Democrats try to do something else unilaterally, which they will inevitably do, somebody will stop them. Not violently, unless it's absolutely necessary, but legislatively.
I think Deep's advice is good. Do yourself a favor and improve yourself. That's what I'm trying to do.

He's been impeached. Twice. First for our young nation and not a good first. Do I think he deserves to be impeached? Well, I haven't seen all the evidence about whether or not he incited the riot on Capitol Hill. It seems like he did a good job of provoking, but directly and deliberately inciting violence is hard to prove unless he specifically called for it. I have a hard time believing that he did for a few reasons.
First, Twitter only suspended his account AFTER the riot itself, not for the tweets. So they only had a problem with what he said AFTER shit went down, not before. Second, did he specifically promote, suggest or otherwise encourage directly in any of his messages? If he said something like "storm the capitol" than that's somewhat strong evidence against him, but still not the strongest. It's hard to prove things in a court of law.
I honestly wish people with differing ideologies and opinions would work together more, listen to one another more. Probably not going to happen. I think at least any unilateral action by the Dems will be opposed, especially Democrats in more-tense districts.

Let it blow over. Trump is on his way out, whether he likes it or not. He's 77. The media will find another person to vilify and turn into a monster soon enough. Maybe one of Trump's relatives. Either that or a prominent GOP member.
