Ideas for a New Story

I’ve decided to make a new story, but I need some new story ideas for it. It’s the origin story of Grogar. Please give me some ideas like new characters or ancient pony heroes. It doesn’t matter, just PLEASE give me new ideas. PPPLLLEEEAAASSSEEE!!!

Try this on for size, he started off as a young billy goat living in a country adjacent to Dream Valley called Tambelon, he had it all, a loving wife, a kid on the way, a simple farm. Tragedy struck when a drought hit, plunging the entire region into famine, but struck Tambelon especially hard. Starvation, disease and political unrest soon followed. In an attempt to save his fledgling family and his fellow countrygoats, Grogar began seeking any means to help when he struck a deal with a powerful dark sorcerer. As with all deals with dark powers, it came with a great burden. Seeing no other way to save his family, he started studying dark magic, though in secret he started building the bewitching bell in a bid to get out of the deal. Eventually he managed to defeat the sorcerer, but at a great cost, he changed from the kind billy goat into a harsh and cruel sorcerer driven by pure ambition. His wife hating what he had become and out of fear for herself and their kid fled and went into hiding. Finding himself truly alone, Grogar sank into the depths of depression. At his lowest, the dark forces he had meddled in came not only to collect their toll, but also to make another maligned offer. Thinking this was the way to win back the heart of his wife, Grogar struck the deal. Not only did he grow in power, but also in cruelty, the dark powers slowly stealing his soul and memories piece by piece until all that was left was ambition, malice and cruelty. He set out to enslave the known world.
