"Hearth's Warming" ("Good Morning" Beatles song parody) · 6:49pm Dec 26th, 2020
So I meant to post this yesterday, but earlier this year I came up with a holiday pony spin on the tune of a Beatles song. It's in the style of BeatleBrony, a YouTube channel made from the efforts of several fandom musicians that was mostly active in early seasons but only once or twice since. Following a passing idea for the opening line, I turned the lyrics of "Good Morning Good Morning" from some guy walking through their day into a telling of the Hearth's Warming Eve play. Here I provide the original song to follow the tune and my new lyrics. I hope someone enjoys.
(ignore all the animal sounds, I don't know why they're there either)
"Hearth's Warming (Good Morning Good Morning)"
Hearth’s Warming!
Hearth’s Warming!
Hearth’s Warming!
Hearth’s Warming!
Hearth’s Warming-ah!
Nothing to do to stop the cold, leaders walk in.
They can’t agree to halt the freeze, just insulting.
Too big a fuss, it’s up to us.
They’ve got nothing to say but, ‘Not okay.’
Hearth’s Warming!
Hearth’s Warming!
Hearth’s Warming-ah!
Nothing to do but leave this land, called us aides ’round.
Heading from home, they start to groan, then reach new grounds.
As they lay their eyes upon the sights, they feel that something’s not quite right.
They realize everypony came, these lands they found are all the same.
After a slight, they start to fight, soon they feel cool.
Winter arrives on whims of vile, Windigoes’ fools.
Nothing has changed, it’s still the same.
They’ve got nothing to say but, ‘Not okay.’
Hearth’s Warming!
Hearth’s Warming!
Hearth’s Warming-ah!
(musical bridge)
The leaders all are trapped in ice, us aides all see each other’s nice.
Friendship’s Fire sparks the light, now we all see we’ll last the night.
Somepony had to spread the mirth, glad we were here.
Sang through the night, no ice in sight, now the sky’s clear.
We’ll take a stand, unite this land.
We are happy to say, ‘It’s all okay.’
Hearth’s Warming!
Hearth’s Warming!
Eve!
(x10 refrain repeat with fade out)
