First Chapter of a AU Story I hope to continue · 12:50pm Dec 6th, 2020
This story is kind of like one where Luna is leader of a spy organization that keeps close eye on a Tyrant Celestia. I have no idea why I’m writing this, but I guess I wanted to see how the situation would look. So the main character here, so far at least, is a young adult, female Pegasus pony named Peach Flight. Im posting the first chap here,
Chapter 1:
It was a bright, sunny day in Ponyville. Ponies were slowly waking up and getting ready to start their jobs on this noisy Tuesday morning. One such pony was Peach Flight.
As she slowly got up from her bed, whose mattress was printed with clouds and lightning bolts, she yawned loudly, exclaiming, “Ahhhh! Another day of work at Cloudsdale Weather Factory. Wish it wasn’t so boring though”.
She then trotted off to the bathroom, picked her favorite green toothbrush, and started brushing her teeth. After using the restroom and freshening up with a quick 10 minute shower, she headed to her modest kitchen and living room to grab a bite for breakfast. As soon as she stepped inside, she noticed a letter sitting on the marble countertop of her kitchen. She carefully approached the letter, and with some hesitation, and sweat dripping down her forehead, she opened it.
The letter read,
“Special Agent Peach Flight, this is one of Her Royal Highnesses messengers speaking to you as per her request. An emergency has come up at HQ where Princess Luna is planning to infiltrate Canterlot Castle to deal with The Other One. The problem is, she doesn’t have enough soldiers to back her up. She needs you to come in ASAP, or the plan won’t be able to go on. Please come soon, as I speak, the Princess is rallying her troops to head to the castle”.
As soon as Peach finishes the letter, she lets out a shaky sigh. She knew that one day she’d be assigned a dangerous mission, but she didn’t expect it to be so soon. She only joined the team almost 6 months ago. That was nearly enough time to get comfortable with HQ, working with her crew mates, and most importantly, strategizing with the Princess. If it was not obvious enough, the Princess is Princess Luna. Many ponies adore Princess Celestia, referred to here as The Other One, because she brings light and hope. and they despise Princess Luna because she brings darkness and doom. Or that is what people thought when Luna was banished. But even now, though some ponies accept her, others are still wary, unwilling to forget or forgive the havoc Nightmare Moon caused all those years ago.
Though Peach was still nervous about all this, she was getting late for work. So she quickly grasped a slice of bread and peanut butter in her wing, and put it in her mouth. As she was munching on her “breakfast”, she grabbed her briefcase, wore her workers coat, and put on her black sunglasses.
After that, she headed out the front door of her cozy little home and glanced around at her lovely town, Ponyville.
Nice chapter, although the fact that the Equestrian CIA just leaves a note there is a bit... Yeah, I was thinking that the Equestrian CIA would sent another agent to meet up with Peach at somewhere secret. Put that aside, GREAT story man!
Thanks, I was hesitant in posting this cuz I know it’s not that good. And since I don’t really have much knowledge on these sorts of topics, idk how this will go. I’ll add some more today if I can, but rn I’m busy. I really appreciate the comment, I’ll edit and improve this later once I have the time. Thanks again!
