I'm Back! Sort of... · 4:14am Nov 27th, 2012
Greetings everyone! Sorry for my recent inactivity but my laptop's charger burnt out and it's been in repairs for a while. I'm probably getting it back Thursday but college has been keeping me busy, what with the semester ending in a little over a week and a half and everything. I just wanted to let everyone know that I had not abandoned FiMFiction, recent events just made it impossible for me to use the site. At any rate, thanks for reading and I'll be back soon!

543739 Well thanks! As I've said, the work should be finished by Thursday at the latest, but it's not like I have no access whatsoever, my mom's been letting use hers at night, so I'll probably still be active, just not in the daytime

543788 That's good to hear! About the same here, only other event of note is that I got Halo 4, which my friends had been begging me to get so they were happy. I must say, though, it was actually a pretty amazing game.

544031 It was pretty great. A lot of people were a bit skeptical about the idea of a Halo title developed by anyone other than Bungie, but I'd say 343 did an amazing job. It's certainly been keeping my friends busy!

544266 Ah, yes. Well, I've played through the campaign, and while I'm not giving any spoilers I will say this: Master Chief is a good deal more talkative this time around.
544272 Yeah my buddy gave told me little things like that as well. lol He also told me how in legendary Master Chief takes off his helmet and you see his mouth and chin or something like that.
544278 Well it wouldn't be Halo without helmet teases! Honestly I hadn't seen that since every time I play a new Halo title I start on normal to experience the story, then play on heroic and legendary, but they do show Chief removing his helmet, of course it fades to black
It seems they take a bit further on legendary, but not by much.
The opening cutscene of the game kind of focused on the original Spartan project. They focused on a child and later a man who could possibly be Chief but I have my doubts. Besides, there's no real evidence to support it.
544299 Lol yeah My favorite legendary scene will always be when Sargent Aj Johnson hugged the elite and groped its ass lol And Yeah I agree there. the helmets scenes have droven everyone mad. lol I like that they showed the spartan project like that.

That definitely was the most hilarious! That moment made all the frustration worth it. If I remember correctly that was the Arbiter as well. You have to wonder if they'll ever show his face, though I can't say I'd blame them if they never do. It's kinda like with the Quarians in the Mass Effect fandom, before ME3, at least. By now everyone's got their own ideas of what Master Chief looks like under there and if his face ever was revealed, there would be a lot of disappointed fans.

544358 Lol yeah I know! lol I liked the game though because it really put in perspective how screwed we would be without the Spartans lol That was an awesome scene when they all attacked that brute chieftain though even thought it was sad as well.
544364 Yeah, the Spartans were pretty much humanity's only hope, Master Chief is of course the most prominent, but there are plenty of other examples. Hell, look at Noble Team. If it hadn't been for them he wouldn't have been able to do half the stuff he did.
544379 Lol yeah pretty much. Reach is probably one of my top fav Halo games so far. ( Halo 1 being first) One thing those...the way Kat died was a dick move lol. The last misson on Reaj is probably the one i played the hardest on because of the emotion it had gathered into it.
544384 I loved Reach, honestly. As great as the others were, I found myself liking Noble 6 a little more than I ever liked Master Chief simply because as badass as he was he barely had a personality, and I really found it hard to like him when he expressed absolutely no emotion. 6 just as a whole seemed more human if that even makes any sense.
At least until Halo 4 that is. 343 did something with Chief I never saw Bungie do: show that despite all he's been through and done, there is still a person inside that suit.
544394 Yeah I agree with you 100% there Noble 6 were humans in spartan suits while Master Chief was or seemed like a robot for the longest time.
544403 Exactly. Funny thing is, though, a lot of people complained that Reach ruined the series, but then every time a new Halo title is released there's always a group talking about how much better the series was before the new game. After Halo 3 I just stopped paying them any attention
As for Kat, yes that was indeed a dick move. There wasn't much I could do other than look at the screen and say "
