Fallout Girls- The Wrinkle in my Predictions

So. It seems that is fans of Fallout Girls have been thrown another curveball. Yes, I know it happened 2 weeks or so ago, but still!

Luna, Trixie, and Sonata are now in the Wasteland. And now I can only guess that they will be taking part in the DLC's and other sidequests.

Rainbow's Factory- The Fresh Perspective I Needed

For those of you who've been around since the beginning of this blog, you likely remember the first stories I talked about were Cupcakes and Rainbow Factory. I briefly said that, while Rainbow Factory had some decent lore and gore, it was more or less just another 'Mane 6 gone bad' grimdark story to be read, and then dismissed. And while I know that it's become something of a brony icon alongside

Fallout New Vegas: Unexpected Friends- Good Story With a Big Letdown- Part 2

Throughout the entirety of the story, there are many instances similar to the Honest Hearts choices that I think make the story weaker, or less strong at the very least. Things like going theatrical with the Think Tank, rather than turning them against Dr. Klein, to even outright ignoring Ulysses during the confrontation in the silo.

Fallout New Vegas: Unexpected Friends- Good Story With a Big Letdown- Part 1

This is a story that, quite frankly, I'm not sure how to describe, or at least I don't know where I stand. On the one hand, this is a very well written story that has earned the praise it's gotten. But on the other, this story has so many things that just..... frustrate me. I'm sure that all my problems are just subjective, and possibly amplified from other points of view, but I

Stories in Stone: Luna's Royal Guard- The Story That Reimagined Nightmare Moon

Wow. There is a lot to unpack here.

Those of you who have been with me a while know that I have talked about the author TDR in my Author of Honor series. (Note: start that up again)
You likely also know that I had been putting this series off because I needed a break from long stories for a while. Well, I finally read it and....

Fallout Girls DLC Part 4- A Diamond/Wanderer in Anchorage · 2:10am Oct 22nd, 2020

We now come to the final DLC- Operation: Anchorage. This DLC is kind of odd in that it doesn't have a real gimmick aside from being a simulation, and thus feels kind of boring compared to the others. So that begs the question: why am I choosing Rarity or Adam for this? In all honesty, it's simple order of elimination. Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Twilight have already had their DLC's assigned, and Sunset, Fluttershy and Pinkie have their own reasons I will discuss later as to why they shouldn't take part in the DLC's, so that leaves only Rarity and Adam to tackle the simulation.

Seeing as it is a simulation, I don't believe that magic will be a factor here, so Rarity would be stripped of all advantages. If she goes in, she will be more or less alone, fighting a "true", and "historical" war. Not sure what effect this will have on her.

The same would be true for Adam. Due to the rules of the simulation, instincts such as looting would need to be forgotten. He goes in without weapons or armor, and has to walk the simulation all the way to the end. Again, not sure what effect this would have, if any.

No questions this time around. I feel this speaks for itself. I will see you all next time when I talk about why I am keeping Sunset, Fluttershy and Pinkie out of the loop with these DLC's!
