Wanna See An Awesome LP Of A Mediocre Silent Hill Game? · 6:35pm Nov 26th, 2012

Of course you do!

A good LP on YouTube? I'm just as shocked as you are.

The original link here for the other parts: http://lparchive.org/Silent-Hill-Homecoming/

Here's a YouTube playlist of all videos!

Seriously, though, this is one of the better LP's I've ever seen. The editing just makes me feel warm inside, like a tire fire during summer time in Hawaii. Too bad the game itself is pretty bland, which is surprising since it's a Silent Hill game. I guess that's what happens when you just steal from the movie and second game without any of the substance.

Be sure to let the video load all the way first - it'll be easier to navigate back and forth. You'll see what I mean.

I hope 6 does something better than being a gow clone

541739 Well, I've played Resident Evil 1-6 and I own Five and Six. Anything you want to know?

There's three different campaigns, for starters. Leon is the only one that fights actual zombies (well, there's another campaign, but that's a bit of a spoiler) and is trying to be more horror themed (lots of zombies, low ammo, etc); Chris' campaign is attacking the J'avo (the las plagas of this game) and is more of a tactile shooter, except that the enemies (when damaged and angry enough) actually mutate and change into stronger forms, until they go and cocooned up and change completely. The third campaign is about Jake (Alex Wesker's kid) and is a bit like Chris' campaign, except that you're frequently chased by an unstoppable killing machine (a la Nemesis).

One of my favorite parts is that sometimes the campaign you're on combines with another players, so It can be up to four players at once during some situations. But the most fun I've had was the mode that unlocks when you complete a campaign - it gives you the option to be the enemies and hunt players. Now that was fun.

Oh, and the A.I. in the Six is way better than Five. For one, your A.I. partner has unlimited health and ammo, so you don't have to worry about item management.

Anything else you want to know about Six? Or maybe Five?

RE 4 really is awesome, isn't it?

Man I haaaated SH5 with a passion. I think it's the only game in the series I never finished (tho I watched someone else do it). I really love the series but man. This makes Homecoming entertaining, though, and I fear I may waste several hours watching this instead of writing...
