At long last

Right, people, I've finally gone and done it, and it really is a finally.

On and off the Pitch is coming out at last. Not because I've finished it. Not because I'm happy with it. Well, I am, just not completely, not quite yet.

And therein did reside a tiny problem I've faced for the past... how many years now? How many has it been with this stupid story? I haven't spent very much of that very large amount of time on it, that's for sure. Only because I could never be satisfied with the damn thing, the only story I've done whose quality I care about to such a degree. But it's time I get over the pedantry, whip off the cover and face the music. So that's what's happening. I'm still editing chapters, and I have actually got a bit of work to do on the ending, but it's going to happen now that I've, at last, committed.

That's the plan, anyway.

In other news, life is good. Work is sometimes pretty hard, and it stacks up quickly; but I'm trying to do things right just now. Losing weight, scheduling my work, being organised. It's going good. Luck to all. I might try and blog something again – should help me make something of an evening I'm not doing much in. We'll see.
