October Announcement! Please Read!

Hey guys. I'm sorry that I've been away from Fimfiction for some time. A lot of stuff has been happening and I've been needing to center myself lately. This includes my writing as well. As of right now, my joy for writing has been well... depleted. I'm back to where I was in April, I'm burnt out.

Allow me to explain. Lately, my new job has allowed me to work from home. At first, I was glad. Working at home gives me extra time to work on my projects. However, to my disappointment, I've been failing to keep up with my deadlines. I can barely get things done. A few months ago, I promised that I'd post one chapter of Jedi Lyra every week, and then release a chapter of Technological Wonders the following week. It hasn't worked out. Plus, with all the current events going on, I need some personal enlightenment. I'll be focusing on my Religious beliefs for the next couple of weeks.

And to make things worse from a writing perspective, I've grown to dislike Technological Wonders again.

It's shameful, really. I rebooted the series hoping that it could alleviate some of pressure I got from writing Jedi Lyra. But it didn't happen. Instead, I've grown to dislike the story; and now I want to write something else now. Granted, I still love Jedi Lyra, and I will continue to write that story. It's one of my best works and I'm not giving up on it. Especially when I got a sequel planned out.

But I want to take a break from writing in general and instead focus on planning my material. Technological Wonders will get one more chapter released this week before I put it to the side and work solely on Jedi Lyra and a new fanfic I've been wanting to write for some time.

Here's the plan:

• Begin planning the rest of Act 3 of Jedi Lyra. Create outlines, drafts, and new characters that will premiere in this act.
• Begin the early planning phases of the sequel to Jedi Lyra. They'll be more to the story than just Jedi Lyra: The Search. If you are familiar with KOTOR and the Expanded Universe, you'll know what's coming up next. Spoiler Alert: The sequel will focus on the Jedi Civil War.
• Begin the early planning phases of my new fanfiction story.
• Post more blog updates on Fimfiction. I need to be more active on this site.

This planning process will take at least 2-3 weeks, so starting on Wednesday after the latest chapter to Technological Wonders is released, I'll begin planning everything out. Also, this doesn't mean I'm cancelling Technological Wonders. It's gotten pretty stale, so stepping away from the fanfic might be a good idea.
