I'm an 18 year-old brony who didn't join the fandom until after season 2 ended. Fluttershy is best pony, but I really like Twilight Sparkle too.

    The End

As of today, I am done with MLP fanfiction. I no longer possess the desire to read, nor the drive to write. I deleted my unfinished story, and do not intend to ever return to it. I didn't even save the text as a word document, so it's officially gone for me.

    Lies

    So yeah, I lied.

No new chapters are complete. I got close on Canon Ponies Meet Fanon Ponies, though. A little more time and I'll be releasing that one.

    The Dreidel

My profile pic is now a dreidel. I saw all these people putting Santa hats on their propics, and wanted to do something different. Unfortunately, searching "Jewish Fluttershy" yields few image results. So I just made it a dreidel.

Dreidel dreidel dreidel, I made you out of gay, and when you're tight and ready, with dreidel I will lay.

Updates on Fics and Such. Blargh.

So, it's been a little while since either of my stories updated. Yeah. I'm sorry for that, but things happen. I'm not going to apologize profusely; there are simply some things out of my control. Beyond the simple "I was editing the new chapters to fit exactly what I wanted," there were two things that kept me from updating.

    Hurricane Sandy

Due to a giant freakin' storm, Moby-Spike may not be updated tonight due to danger, preparations, etc. If I lose power, then that is why it didn't update.

As for my other fic, Canon Ponies Meet Fanon Ponies, I decided to split the Pinkie Pie chapter into two parts. Why?

Updates on Fics and Such. Blargh. · 8:58pm Nov 25th, 2012

Distraction Numero Uno: Singing

Sounds odd, right? What the hell does singing have to do with my writing? Well apparently, I sing. As a hobby. And boy, do I suck at it. Normally, I would never sing in front of people. No, that would be embarrassing. As such, the only time I ever used to sing in public was on Thanksgiving. For a few years now, me and a few buds would get together, buy a shit-ton of bread, and then hand out food to homeless people. Once we ran out of food, we'd sing Lean On Me. It's by Bill Whithers, and it's great for making hobos feel happy. If they hug you, you accept it. Because they're fuzzy.

Anyway, until about a month ago I refused to sing anywhere else, and few people knew I enjoyed singing. However, during the summer a friend of mine convinced me to perform Stereo Hearts (by Gym Class Heroes, featuring Adam Levine) alongside him at lunch during school. Reluctantly, I memorized the lyrics and we created a whole performance for the date we set. We did the performance, and it went fairly well. I sang the Levine parts while he rapped, which was ridiculous considering he's a rich Pakistani dude who always dresses in suits. After that, everypony knew. I've been bugged about it consistently, and have once again agreed to perform. This time, I'll be performing alongside my African friend, who apparently besides having been a child soldier in the Congo is also not bad at singing tenor. Seriously, this guy shot people while coked up at the age of 9, and now he wants to sing. I'll never understand people. I also have another friend who sings with me each year at Thanksgiving, but him I understand.

The song we have chosen is Dragostea Din Tei, by O-zone. It might be in Romanian, but it isn't too tough. You probably recognize it better as the "Numa Numa song."

That's right, someday soon I'll be singing a part in that song. Namely, the alto portion. The part of the guy in the flamboyant yellow shirt, if you don't know what alto means. Oh Celestia, why?

Distraction Numero Dos: Israel/Gaza Conflict

This one was far more serious. During the days of the conflict between Israel and the Gaza Strip, I sent/received just over 600 emails pertaining to it. Many of the ones I sent were requests for information or pleas for peace between me and my state's senators and representatives. I also sent many emails to the CIA concerning the issue, oftentimes writing entire essays in the process. I kept up a strictly formal dialogue with America's Israeli ambassador as well. It was a harrowing experience, but I had to do it until an agreement was reached. Such is the price of being politically active and giving a fuck.

Anyway, I hope y'all understand why things might not have gone so quickly. Fortunately enough, I should be done with college apps in the next few months, and the extra time will be dedicated here. Soon enough, both of these fics will be done anyway. Also, from now on no pre-reading will be requested here. I'm tired of people agreeing to it and then disappearing, so from now on these two fics will go on as is, and new chapters will be self-edited. New fics may be pre-read, but only from my friends on Skype. That way, I know it's getting done.

I think that's it. Here, have something funny for all your waiting.

538864 You're just posting that everywhere, aren't you? I've seen it. Stop. It's not cute, it's not funny, it's annoying.

Also, don't agree to edit something and then not reply at all. Not fun for the guy writing the story which needs editing.

538875 Tree, cave, house, whatever. Fact of the matter is the bear actually has an abode. :rainbowwild:
