    Happy St. Patrick's Day🍀☘️

Currently doing a bar crawl in Downtown (ok so we started in Corktown and are making our way through any good AVAILABLE bar today) with some friends and a couple of co-workers of mine, who we unintentionally ran into. Turns out great minds think alike! Ironically I'm the "Uber Call Girl" tonight so...unfortunately can't get TOO wasted (plus I actually have work tomorrow...couldn't call off).

Happy 20th Anniversary "Static Shock" · 9:47pm Sep 23rd, 2020

Original Air Date: September 23, 2000
Yeah, yeah I know. A lot of stuff's havin anniversaries this week! But this one was revolutionary (in DC's case anyways)! Static is DC's first character of color to have a starring role on a show in the 2000s (remember, while Black Lightning is cool, and in fact the character came long before Static...The show Black Lightning has only been out 2 years) Not to mention, there still weren't a lot of kid's shows that featured a black lead (The Proud Family would be released about a year later on Disney Channel. The Boondocks, while not necessarily for kids, would be released in 2005) animated or otherwise. That was extra special.

Season 1

Season 2

Season 3, we got lil' Romeo rappin' on this one wit his pops Master P

Season 4 (the final season)
Cheers for 20 years of yay! (Bonus statement: RIP Kids WB)

YEAH! One of my favorite childhood cartoons! My favorite episode was when Static teamed up with Batman and Robin against the Joker, which had this awesome AND hilarious scene:

I love that episode too! However the episode that even today still stands out as one of the best is the season 1 episode "Sons of the Fathers". You remember that one?
