Well this is rather... something.
So much time passed, things started, things ended, life lived, and all the rest.
i walked away from this and just lived life a bit, tried new things, puttered through time, and put some life experience under my belt. I'll admit I tucked this place away under the 'don't want to deal with' memory bank and just enjoyed the fandom vicariously through boorus and the occasional DWK video. Prolly wouldn't have come back if not for this hellish year throwing my new life into some odd places and me having a surplus of free time.
...and a few friendly voices that over the years have given some repeated encouragement, and asks to come back (you obstinate rascals know who you are). I make this blog not to announce that "I'm back and better than ever" or to get your hopes up on me picking right off where i left off (barely recall how to work this website so this'll take some getting used to again.)
But what I do want to mention is my interest in starting over. I never stopped liking these goofy technicolor equines, and if you'll have it I want to take some time to regain my sea legs as it were. Left alot unfinished and i won't promise its all gonna get picked back up, honestly these things deserve an entire reread and probably a whole rewrite to some extent.
What does or doesn't happen remains to be seen of course, won't promise you much new in the immediate future, but if/when they happen it won't be here... well not exactly anyways. As I said I kinda want to start fresh a bit. Read whats new, put some of the silliness thats been trapped in my head for a few years on an actual document, readdress my old work and hopefully give them a deserved touch-up.
I'm rambling a bit so I'll try to cut it short here with this. Eventually I'm gonna retire this specific profile but for now I just wanna peruse old halfbaked schemes.
do let us know if the retirement involves the loss of the stories on here. I still say that your Trixie x Spike fic is still the most amusing of that ship to date despite it never being finished.

DABH is my darling and to this day a few friends will have at me and bring it up if I mention MLP fanfiction. Over the next few weeks I'll be rereading the ol gal and try to get back to where I was 'thought process wise' on the last unfinished chapter. Lost a the first three chapters when my old comp finally gave up the ghost, but honestly every chapter prolly deserves a rewrite and some fine-tuning.
I don't recall the rules on re-uploading stories so I'll make some effort in getting ahold of someone that might be able to explain whether or not I can re-upload this story from the ground up, or just have the author credit transferred to my new account.
While there's some new ships involving Spike that've held my attention as of late and that I want to one day put out there, Spike and Trixie will always be near the top.

Heh, it was, at one point, my goal to prod at you about that story every six months or so, but after the first few it felt rude to continue.
I need to give that story a re-read myself. While I do not intend to criticize, I do remember the final chapter feeling a bit 'off the rails' in comparison to the earlier chapters.
Do let me know if you care to talk about anything pony related, be it on here or Discord, I write and edit these days, though a tad slow recently on the writing.
Spike fics...not a ton comes to mind, but he is rarely my favorite character. "Greenfire' was glorious, but abandoned long ago. There is one out recently called 'Don't &^%$ your friends! (Spike)' that I felt really delved deep into Spike, it has erotica in it, but spoiler: He doesn't screw his friends and it gets very big on his personality and who he is as a person.
Those two beside your story are the highlights I can think of off the top of my head with Spike. There is some nice Flutterxspike's out there I enjoy, but only a few really make him into a unique person for me.
