Avatar, Dances with wolves, The last Samura. Some movies I think about when it comes to stories like this where you have two sides of a story regarding a less advanced civilization dealing with a more sophiscated socieity trying to take over their land or destroy their way of life. This episode is more simple then a complex story like Avatar or Dances with wolves but the idea is still there. As the Ponies are just trying to povide fopd for their families but they planted their trees on the buffalo's sacred land. But what I liked about this show abit more is because you can sympathize more with both sides as we daw Applejack and Rainbow Dash taking sides and understand each group's plights. And in the end the compromise was founded simply based on the chief getting hit by an apple pie and liking it. But in real life its never that simple but I kind of wished it was. But overall I liked this episode alot because it showed a complex idea regarding compromise between two different civilizations in a kids show in less then 20 min. Thats impressive.

Too bad that Littlestrongheart and Braeburn ship didn't last or never went anywhere
Applejack was super cute in this episode treating a appletree like a baby
Sheriff silverstar did almost die in this episode and I thought it was funny how the best weapons the Appleloosians had were applepies while the buffalo would've gorged the ponies to death with their horns. But its a kid's show lol kind of dark there.
