So, there's been a hell of a lot of commotion the past month with that whole story surrounded usage of Nazism and how such hate groups and topics are seen in our community as a whole. I lost count of how many threads I read on here about it, and many people had good takes on the subject from a slew of different perspectives.
Me? Well I'm pretty simple when it comes to that stuff. I don't tolerate racism, or hate filled speech of any kind, towards anybody. That being said, have I laughed at a comedian making a joke using Hilter or Nazis for example? I sure have, and I don't consider myself a bad person for doing so. I think it's one thing to make a couple light-hearted jokes regarding the matter, but also respect those who may not think those topics are humorous in any aspect. There should be a bit of nuance in allowing anybody to say anything given our first amendment, but this shouldn't mean that they are free of consequence, and there is also a time and a place. A small joke between friends or at a comedy club? Sure. But actively participating in racist or hate groups? 100% No.
Anyway that's how I look at it, and thankfully it seems like this site has done a decent job in tackling the issue for now, so I'm content.
I'm still writing, slowly mind you. I planned out a small multi-chapter story involving Trixie and Starlight. I've read a bunch of stories with both of them and I think I may have found myself a new favorite ship in the meantime (and I'm in the midst of watching Season 7, and man I feel so behind 
). But I do plan on writing that over the next few weeks.
Otherwise, our world is still topsy turvy, hope everybody is doing alright, and feel free to drop a line if you just wanna vent, rant, chit chat, or what have you. Stay safe yall.

It ain't too late to catch up! I was surprised at how much I've liked most of Season 7 so far, Starlight actually is great as a main character.
And thanks, hopefully I can keep up the enthusiasm with my writing, I'm trying to keep my motivation. If you're interested, I might be looking for somebody to act as a pre-reader. I actually wanted to do that with my last story and just ran out of time with it.
