So Chapter 5 is complete. · 10:04pm Jul 14th, 2020
Okay so Chapter 5 is complete. Well I'm done writing it and I'm going to post it once I make sure it's fine which could take a day or two because I'm not feeling so hot right now.
However now that chapter 5 is complete I need to talk about this story a bit. Chapter 5 is where things fall off the deep end. Over the past few years I've been watching Issac Arthur and looking at the state of fiction in general and I've wanted to create my own fictional universe and it's been boiling since about 2014ish. The entire reason I wrote "Who Needs the Sunshine" was to reach this point, it wasn't clear back then what this point was going to look like but since then this point has become stranger and stranger over time.
Essentially what I'm going to be doing is introducing my own fantasy-sci-fi setting and inflicting it upon Equestria. Not standard fantasy, not standard sci-fi, my own mix of madness, there are no orcs, there are no standard sword and board fighters, they won't even have artificial gravity, but there is my own brand of magic and a FTL drive.
So basically the story is going to go up to my sci-fi fiction whatever for a couple chapters, have that "thing"(you know the one) explain some stuff about why it's even here and then start moving back and forth between Equestria and where we're going in chapter 6.
In summary the story is moving along faster but it's also at the tipping point where things are going to get a lot stranger.
