Ponies getting mad at their parents · 2:00pm Jul 5th, 2020
I truly can't blame them for feeling that way. Overbearing parents driving them crazy reminds me of an episode of Steven Universe, Sadie's Song, where Sadie wanted to sing in the Beach-a-Palooza but her mom and Steven got in the way by coming up with ideas that she does not approve of. Sadie reached her breaking point and admitted that her mom has been pressuring her throughout her life. She said, "I just thought, for once, I'd get to do things my way, but you came in and took over everything like you always do!"
Scootaloo's parents are the ones that really pissed me off.

They were never physically present throughout 8 seasons to guide her, raise her, or spent time with her to get to know her on a personal level. At least she's with her aunts.

I updated the blog with the video involving Scootaloo's parents. The first two videos are those that I remember clearly while the other must've slipped my mind.
out of these it's mostly starlight's dad just didn't seem like he was there for her in her childhood (i wasn't a big fan of the parent map i do appreciate that it showed starlight's dad it's just i really wish they did an episode on what happened to her mom in the last season it's just starlight didn't get much in the last season since it was mostly on the mane 6 i live the mane 6 and i know the show started with them it's just i really wanted to know more on starlight like knowing what happened to her mom) and no matter what people say i will always like the cutie re-mark (that's when starlight grew on me and i understood her backstory i just ignore the haters with what they say).
